Finding new restaurants that are appealing and enjoyable is something that requires trial and error and often times lots of bad to go with the good. In order to save you some time, here are 10 up and coming restaurants in Arlington you should visit:

1. Retro Burger:

If you’re ever in the mood for a classic burger and shake Retro Burger is one of the few spots in Arlington to go. Retro Burger offers a variety of other classic American foods, but nothing tops their loaded burgers and salty fries with a refreshing milkshake.  

2. Punjabi Tadka:

For just $10 an endless buffet of Indian food is an amazing deal, and the bonus is at Punjabi Tadka the food is delicious. Punjabi Tadka isn’t too well known yet so get in there before people begin to discover its amazing food and deals. 

3. Tango:

Located right in the center of town, Tango is a delicious Argentinian cuisine that offers a variety of delicious items. Don’t want to take my word for it? Take the word of the Argentine men’s national soccer team, who stopped by Tango during their visit to the U.S. 

4. La Victoria:

La Vic is one of the few authentic Mexican places in Massachusetts that will have you coming back for more. Their burritos are cheap and always loaded with condiments, making them worth every penny and leaving you feeling satisfied every time. Although still small, La Victoria is growing by the day so get there before the rush of people. 

5. Twyrl:

If you’re looking for a classic Italian dining experience in Arlington visit Twyrl. Twyrl is unique because you have an interesting ability to customize your dish as you’d like. You can choose a pasta type from the menu and complement it with various sauces and meats however you’d like. If you don’t feel like customization then there are plenty of other items on the menu equally as delicious. Twyrl is somewhat new but is making strong headway as one of the few Italian joints in Arlington. 

6. Mr. Sushi:

Asian cuisine is a common theme for takeout and luckily Arlington offers a bountiful amount, whether Chinese, Japanese, or some sort of fusion. Mr. Sushi is a Japanese restaurant that offers a deep and diverse menu, great prices, and easy accessibility. In a society that loves sushi, Mr. Sushi is the perfect up and coming place to visit for your next meal out. 

7. Blue Ribbon:

When it comes to Barbeque in the northeast you can’t do much better than Blue Ribbon BBQ. It’s right on Mass. Ave and has a great atmosphere for its visitors. It’s well known among Arlington residents, but is a small little hole in the wall for all outsiders. Get in early because the line’s out the door around 6:30 every night. 

8. Andrina’s:

Andrina’s is a classic for Arlington residents and rightfully so. With delicious tasting pizza and plenty of other options Andrina’s is a perfect place to order from on pizza night or to drop in for a quick dinner. Despite its great food and quick service, Andrina’s still isn’t as well known as it should be. 

9. Common Ground:

Still up and coming, Common Ground is a great place for a casual dinner with the family. It’s more formal than a typical food spot, but nothing you need to get too dressed up for. With plenty to choose from, stop by Common Ground as soon as possible and you won’t be disappointed. 

10. OTTO:

Brand new to East Arlington, Otto is an extremely unique pizza experience. They offer unconventional flavors while also serving the standard for those who prefer cheese or pepperoni. With Otto’s great prices you can’t go wrong with stopping by for a quick slice or a full pizza.
