Face and body earrings are a trend I definitely didn’t see coming, but one that is now ubiquitous. After seeing targeted ads for them on my social media feed for every now and again, I must admit I dismissed it as a fad that would definitely not take off. But before I knew it, though, every high-street shop was doing their own version – even JW Anderson has some, but as these retail for around £365, I didn’t include them here, although I am dying for a pair of the moon face earrings. The ones included here are reminiscent of Picasso’s face doodles (you know, those ones with the faces and the birds?) and theatrical masks with a few geometric pieces thrown in for good measure. Face earrings are a fun way of updating your wardrobe for summer, keeping in line with the statement earring trend.
These gold earrings are a subtle way of wearing another face. They are unique and bent to replicate a side facial view.
This statement pair is definitely eye-catching. Try pair them with a simple outfit, like a co-ord suit, for an abstract take of the face earring trend.
Technically speaking NOT face earrings, but I love these freehand-style body doodles from Monki. They’re quite subtle, too:
Elegant, modern face earrings are great for adding a subtle statement to a plain outfit – a crisp white shirt, blue straight-leg jeans, a red lip, and these:
There’s a fun, 1960’s retro vibe to these small eye earrings! These are face earrings that focus on a single part of the face itself, the eyes.
Weekday never fails to deliver – these Picasso-esq face earrings are affordable, too.
