I’ve become obsessed with podcasts recently, I never thought that I would enjoy listening to an audio file on my phone of people talking so much! You can download a podcast for whatever interests you, but with there being so much on the market it can be hard to decipher what’s worth listening and what’s not. Here’s a list of some of the best free podcasts that might have slipped through the cracks.

The Receipts Podcast

I can’t stop listening to this podcast because while you’re listening, it feels like you’re sitting with your best mates and having a chat. These three girls from London will talk about everything from current racism in society to whether situationships are worth it, and truly describe what it’s like to be a woman in today’s world. Every girl should listen to this to get their daily dose of girl talk.

GrownUpLand

It’s harder than ever being a 20 something in today’s world, and if you need a little advice on how to survive while having a laugh, you need to listen to this podcast, as it deals with different issues every week, GrownUpLand tries to answer the question, what does it really take to be a grownup, by looking to Radio 4 for answers. Sit back and laugh as you try to learn how to adult.

My Dad Wrote A Porno

The title describes it perfectly. Jamie Morton found out that his dad had written an erotic novel and while most people would probably keep the news to themselves he decided to make a podcast. In the podcast, he reads the novel and discusses it with James Cooper and Alice Levine. Be prepared to be crying with laughter at the ridiculousness of the podcast and the witty chats.

The stories are meant to inspire women and girls to push them to achieve whatever they want.
