1. Blackpool Beach

With the iconic and beautiful landmark Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and plenty of fish and chips stop offs, Blackpool has become one of the most popular coastal towns in the west of England.

Crosby beach extends an enormous two and a half miles and stretches up the northwestern coastline.

3. New Brighton Beach
Another hidden gem just north of the River Mersey is New Brighton Beach which is located in the north-west corner of the Wirral peninsula. It offers a beautiful stretch of sandy beach which extends for just under a mile. There are plenty of photo opportunities with striking views of Liverpool’s city skyline just south of the beach and there plenty of eateries around for ice cream and fish and trips.
The Perch Rock fort is a popular tourist attraction which is a sea defence system that has been in place since the 19th century, offering something historical compared to the rest of the North West beaches. Another attraction is Perch Rock Lighthouse, which also sits at the end of the stunning stretch of beach. This beach is suitable for all tourists and has plenty of space to sunbathe and grass to sit overlooking the sea. New Brighton Beach is accessible via Liverpool being located just north of the city with local bus services, so you can hop in and out of the city sightseeing!
