Sushi and sandwiches are two of London’s favourite lunch options. But what if these two tasty meals became one? You get the most amazing mashup. Ever. Get your taste buds ready because the sushi sandwich is coming to London. No, this is not a drill.
Norigami is a sushi sandwich – a culinary mash-up if you will – and it is also the name of the start-up company bringing the sushi sandwich to London. Their tagline? “Norigami is the love child of sushi and a sandwich?”
A startup company
The startup is made of a group of entrepreneurs who love food and want to bring exciting new flavours and combinations to London. They also believe that they everybody should have access to healthy, delicious food for their lunch and pledge to be good to everybody in the food production process, from producers to vendors. What’s not to love?
The sushi sandwich gives you all the mouth-watering goodness of sushi in a convenient, portable form. Perfect for lunch on the go! In addition to being packed with flavour, sushi sandwiches are also wheat free, gluten free and dairy free. They really are ideal for everyone!
If you want to get your hands on one, Norigami is running pop-up shops in St Pancras for a limited time. For a more mainstream option, Whole Foods are said to be adding sushi sandwiches to their stores soon. They’re sure to be the next food craze! This is what everything we never knew we needed.
