I remember as a kid wondering why I was getting weird things for Halloween that weren’t candy; kool-aid packets and tooth paste. But now looking back I am grateful there were adults that did that. Give kids practical treats without the cavities. Here are 10 trick-or-treating ideas that aren’t candy.

Gum is always a staple to keep in your backpack and Extra comes in many different flavors. Kids will love you for this because it not only gives you fresh breath but they will have a pack on hand if their friends ask for some.

You will never be too old to enjoy fruit snacks and you will be the most beloved house if you give them out. These are healthy, delicious, and even come with fun stickers you can pass out as well!

3. Pretzels

Great option to give to kids. After they have eaten their candy save the packet for an easy school snack!

Kids are feeling parched after walking several blocks. Pop a cold one with a Faygo and see their eyes light up!
