15 Times That Harry Styles Broke All The Right Fashion Rules

Harry Styles is known for a large number of things, but he recently has started to stir conversation with his fashion choices. From taking on trends to creating fashion statements, we are obsessed with Harry’s latest creations. Here are 15 times that Harry Styles broke all the right fashion rules that we are loving right now!

1. Harry’s Halloween Costume

A few years back, Harry debuted his Halloween costume after Elton John, but with a fun twist. Sequins and sparkles were added to his look to add the classic Harry Styles flare to the costume.

Steal the look by adding a little bit of bling to your next fit or to your next costume. Always ask yourself, WWHD, or what would Harry do when deciding to risk it with your outfit. Chances are, he would want you to do it!

2. Harry’s 2021 Grammy Look

Oh, so you thought feather boas stayed in the 20s or in your childhood dress-up closet? Think again! The plaid blazer gives us major Clueless vibes with an added dash of sass with the purple boa.

With a matching plaid mask to accept his Grammy award, the singer-songwriter put together the perfect fit with the mixture of textures, prints, and colors that work perfectly together. Harry, we love you even more for serving these looks on the red carpet!

3. Harry’s Watermelon Sugar Look

Harry’s look for his music video, Watermelon Sugar, gives all the summer vibes. Harry Styles yet again breaks all gender stereotypes with this bright look! The pretty pastels and scarf are perfect for any summer day.

Another thing that we are loving about this outfit is the bright pink nail polish to help welcome the sunny days and long nights of summer! We might even reconsider our love for high-rise jeans now that we see Harry is rocking these light wash, low-rise jeans.

4. Harry’s Taylor Swift Inspired Look

What we mean by this is that Harry is channeling Taylor’s song, Cardigan, with this cozy performance look. This outfit is packed with good inspiration to take from such as the graphic tee, the strand of pearls, and of course the cardigan.

Harry shows us with this outfit that pearls aren’t just for formal events but can be paired with your favorite pair of jeans or just a graphic tee; no need for formalities!

5. For the Rolling Stone Cover

A fun and fresh springtime look, Harry graces the cover of Rolling Stone with a look that is perfect for any occasion. Steal with look with some high-waisted, wide-legged pants, a white bodysuit, and some loafers.

Bonus points for any sort of hat, just like Harry’s to tie it all together. If anyone remembers, these wide-legged pants that Harry is sporting are a dramatic difference from his boyband days that were full of tight skinny jeans and chelsea boots!

6. Harry’s SNL Promo

This shoot was not Harry’s first appearance on SNL, but it might have been his first time on SNL with a glass of champagne, a tutu, and a cigarette. This outfit for the promotion stirs conversation as Harry breaks stereotypes with something so bright while his personality and persona still show through.

The outfit choice still shows a fun side of Harry and his personality with a mixture of ‘rock and roll’ but still so elegant and professional.

7. Harry Styles In Vogue

Harry’s fashion choice for his Vogue interview had a lot of people talking. The sad part was that so many people were negative about Harry’s choice. We love what he chose for this Vogue section as he again breaks gender stereotypes and shows that dresses are not only for women but to enjoyed by all!

8. Yellow for the Brit’s Award

Yellow seems to be a favorite of Harry’s but for good reason, as he can pull it off! Paired with a purple bow, Harry makes another unusual fashion choice that ultimately works out to be a great one.

This single color fit shines bright in a sea of just black and white tuxedos at this award show, just like Harry and his personality!

9. Harry Styles for Another Man Magazine

Serious Mick Jagger vibes with this outfit, but Harry still finds a way to come across as distintcly himself in this photoshoot. Our favorite part of this outfit is the pink Converse for the pop of color that it adds to this black and white look.

Harry’s messy waves inspire us to cut off the straightners and let our hair air dry or pull out the beach waver to recreate this look.

10. Harry at Jingle Ball

The last appearance that Harry had at Jingle Ball was back in his One Direction days before their long and extended break. Harry debuted this look for another magazine article but brought it out just in time for Jingle Ball.

Jumpsuits are notoriously pushed towards women’s fashion, but Harry breaks this barrier with rocking the glittered denim suit and white Chelsea boots.

11. MET Gala Looks

One thing that we have missed due to the pandemic is the looks that we get from celebrities for the gala. Harry sported another jumpsuit for this occasion paired with bright blue nail polish.

The lace neckpiece is elegant paired with the sheer sleeves as Harry puts all of this fashion inspiration into one great look!

12. Grammy’s After Party

Harry might have been called a penguin for this look, but we are obsessed! From the overzied bowtie to the extra high-waisted pants, we are here for this outfit!

This is only two out of the three outfits that Harry debuted at the Grammy’s, check out the next look down below!

13. Harry’s Grammy Performance

The feather boas did not just stop at the red carpet! Harry brought the look onto the stage with him as he performed one of his hits before winning his award. The bright green stands out against the darkness of his suit.

We also love Harry’s leather jacket to add another texture to this outfit along with the ‘fluff’ of the boa. This is just another one of those example of Harry serving looks and inspiration for us!

14. Farm Animals for Accesories?

We love everything about this outfit especially as he gets cozy with his chicken friend. The plaid with the intricacies of the details on his blazer is the perfect pair to make his eyes pop.

From this look, we want to steal mismatched patterns and color combos in our next fit, and maybe the occasional chicken, just like Harry!

15. Dresses for Vogue (again)!

Another great look from Harry’s Vogue article had to be our final fave for the list. This kilt inspired skirt is paired with another print on Harry’s sweater vest but is broken up with the chunky gold belt.

Looking proper in his attire, we are stealing the long crotched sock with shoes just like Harry! He brings in tradition to this outfit but also another daring but great choice for Vogue.

What are your favorite looks that Harry has brought to the red carpet or his performances? What inspo have you gotten from him? Show us in the comments below!
