Planning a spring break trip with friends can be hectic enough. This year, don’t let the stress of planning carry over into the process of packing. We’re here to help you remember all of the spring break necessities you’ll need in order to have an amazing trip that you’ll never forget. Here are 10 things you have to pack for you spring break trip this year.
A fanny pack will become your best friend on any spring break trip. This bag is small, but mighty. It can fit all of the necessities you need to have with you for a day on the beach, such as your sunglasses, money, ID, etc. It also allows your hands to be free and you don’t have to worry about setting it down and accidentally forgetting it somewhere.
A spring break savior. Depending on where your spring break destination may be, water bottles can become a bit pricey. Carrying around a re-usable water bottle will keep you hydrated while saving you money.
A girl needs options. You need that perfect tanning bikini, a bikini that’ll stay in place during a game of volleyball, and of course some of the cutest bikinis you own. You’ll be thanking yourself later for packing some options. Plus, bikinis don’t take up much space in a luggage.
Having both of these forms of identification with you on spring break can come in handy for bar hopping, or even if you misplace one or the other. It’s always nice to have a backup prepared if this happens.
Let’s be honest… you’ll be so busy partying, swimming in the ocean, and going out that shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying won’t be the first on your list of to-do’s. Spray some dry shampoo into your locks after a body shower and save yourself some major time.
One bad sun burn can ruin an entire spring break trip. Especially if you forget to lather up on the first day of your vacation. Spraying or rubbing on sun screen takes less than five minutes and can save you from some serious pain and embarrassing red skin.
Can anybody say game changer? Be the life of the party this spring break with flip flops that have built in bottle openers. They’re also a great conversation starter.
For that day when you run out of gas and need to reload…make sure you’ve packed something comfy to snuggle up in. There’s no shame in taking a relaxation day while on a spring break trip. Re-charging helps to prevent over doing it.
For the pregame. A speaker is a MUST on any spring break trip. Use it while you’re getting ready in the hotel room or laying out on the beach. A speaker is definitely a party starter and will come in handy during your vacation.
In case your hotel room doesn’t have a mini fridge, it’s a good idea to pack a cooler bag to keep food and drinks cold. A cooler will also come in handy on a spring break trip, but not if you are flying to your destination.
