The Cutest Fourth Of July Outfits You Need To Wear

One of the most stressful parts about the Holidays is finding an outfit to wear–whether its 9 degrees or 90 degrees, the last thing you want to have to worry about is how you look on the Holidays.

4thof July is one the best Holidays–you get to celebrate this country, your freedom, and of course, it’s an excuse to drink a ton of booze. There are so many ways to celebrate too–you can have a chill day with your friends or family, go out partying, sit by the pool, go to the lake, etc. All of these call for such variations in, you guessed it, outfits! Not only is it warm out so you have a lot more room to experiment with outfits, but you can be as obnoxious as you want (or don’t want).

Here are some of the cutest outfits and accessories you have to try on the 4thof July this year. You basically will scream America.

1. A fun swimsuit

It seems like a given, but a red white and blue swimsuit is a must for the 4th. Especially if you are spending it in near a pool, lake, or beach. You don’t have to do the typical red, white, and blue either–you could get a solid colored one and be just as festive!

2. Star t-shirt and shorts

This is a perfect casual look that you could wear even after the 4th. A simple star t-shirt of some sort paired with jean shorts works for hanging out with friends, a barbeque, or kick back with family. It’s simple, trendy, and not super over the top.

3. USA t-shirt

I know, I know, nobody wants to be THAT person with the typical USA t-shirt on the 4thof July. However, there are variations of shirts that can be super cute and work well. For example, you could get more of a vintage one and cut it, so its cropped. You can also pair it with almost anything. This look allows you to be obnoxious if you want, or cute and fun.

4. American flag shorts

I’ve never had the guts to wear these, but they are super cute! If you don’t feel like spending a fortune on them, you can even DIY an old pair of shorts (there is stuff all over Pinterest too). It’s a cute way to express your love for the USA while still having flexibility on pairing it with a plain t-shirt or top!

5. Red bandana

While this is an accessory, it’s a must! You can tie it as a shirt, or get creative with it in your hair. This is perfect for someone who doesn’t want to spend a ton of money or go over the top with USA gear.

6. Funny t-shirt

This is totally up my alley, but having a funny t-shirt with a saying on it totally screams America. Star-spangled hammered, four score and seven beers ago, red white and booze, the possibilities are really endless. This look is perfect to wear over a swimsuit or to a hangout with friends. Again, there are multiple opportunities to make this cute in your own way.

7. Monogrammed t-shirt

A monogrammed shirt is a 4thof July must for the preppy peeps. It looks so cute with scalloped shorts, jean shorts, or anything in between. If you want something you can wear year-round, aim towards a blue or white shirt with red monogramming!
