Round frames in 1970’s seen on John Lennon and over-sized frames, Jacqueline Kennedy’s favorite look. Top Gun in the 1980’s brought us aviators, a popular sunglasses style today. Thanks to Princess Diana, big and plastic sunglasses became popular in the 1980’s. The 1990’s brought us colored lenses and the bug eye.
