Everyone wants to be a golden goddess once it hits July. Unfortunately, many of us do not have the time to lay out on the beach for the amount of time it takes to get that type of glow. I have always been skeptical of tanning salons; one, because I don’t want to get skin cancer, and two because I’m scared of looking orange from a spray tan. Because of this, I’ve bought over the counter products in the past, but would frequently run into the issue of smelling like it for days (ahem Jergens ahem), looking streaky, or having it rub off. None of those things are cute. Luckily for us, the big guy up there is looking out for us, and these products are bomb. Here is a ranking of the best sunless tan products for your skin.

There are about four body applications per bottle and each application lasts 5-7 days, so if you are looking for a quick fix this may be the option for you. This product is a foam, which is actually my preference when applying my own self-tanner. It has a pleasant smell but it doesn’t smell like lots of tanners out there, so you won’t reek, and the color is a gorgeous natural glow.
Although on the pricier side, if you are more comfortable using towelettes and you want a convenient/less messy option to regular self-tanners, try this product out. The tan doesn’t last a full week, but it is so natural that it makes it all worth it. We love this product, a fab option when looking to achieve the best sunless tan!
If you want to look like you just got back from a tropical vacation, you have to try this product. This product is great if you are looking for a tanner that has an emphasis on moisture. Not only will you have a natural looking tan in four hours, but you will notice improvements in skin texture after a couple of weeks of use. It is a great option for pale skin as well. If you are already tan or even slightly tan and are looking to enhance and deepen it, this is a great option. It is organic and made from only naturally derived ingredients to keep your skin healthy and luminous. It also smells fantastic, and your skin won’t be irritated.
This is a really affordable product and produces great results. Just allow your skin to dry before dressing and your tan will develop over two to three hours. This product is great if you have fair skin as well, as you are able to test the first coat to see how it looks, and then add a second if you choose to deepen your glow.
Another water tanning product, this product works perfectly if you want something that is made for your face. It has a tropical spa scent and has a cooling effect on your skin that will hydrate and tan your skin simultaneously.
A great bronzing mist (although on the pricier side) it develops a deep all over tan. If you want to add moisture or make the effects lighter, add lotion to the product. That way, you are able to control the intensity of your tan. A great spray to purchase if you’re looking to get the best sunless tan!
