The Best Products For Blonde Hair

Having blonde hair is absolutely brilliant, but maintaining blonde hair? Not so brilliant. There’s so many things that need to be factored into your haircare routine, and when you’re new to being a blonde it can be pretty overwhelming! So we’ve decided to put together a list of the best products for blonde hair, to put you on the path of beautiful blonde locks.

1. Purple shampoo

Purple shampoo is literally the holy grail product for blonde people everywhere. Purple shampoo is key to maintaining the colour in your hair, as it battles brassy tones and eliminates any yellowness that could develop as your colour sets it. We’d recommend the John Frieda Sheer blonde Tone-Correcting shampoo, and would combine it with the John Frieda sheer blonde highlighting conditioner for ultimate blonde bombshell hair!

2. Hair masks

Hair masks and blonde hair honestly go together like bread and butter. Since the process of having (un-natural) blonde hair involves a fair bit of bleach it can leave your hair a bit dry and brittle. This is where hair masks come in! Involving a deep conditioning hair mask into your haircare routine once a week will soon see you on your way to luscious silky hair!

3. Argon oil

Another great product to use to tackle dry and brittle hair is to use argon oil. A little bit onto the ends of damp hair will work wonders, and it’s a lot less time consuming if you’re a woman on the go! One think to remember with this product though is that a little goes a long way, don’t over do it or you’ll just look a bit greasy!

4. Silver toner

Looking for a brighter, lighter, edgier blonde? Then silver toning shampoo is your new best friend. it’s designed to eliminate yellow tones and helps enhance your highlights giving you a kickass pure blonde colour.

5. Heat defence spray

Heat defence spray is a given when caring for any type of hair, but with blonde hair its especially necessary. If your blonde isn’t natural then your hair is more easily damaged when exposed to heat due to the bleach weakening your hair fibres. Use a heat defence spray when out in the sun as well as when styling – think of it as sun cream for your hair! This is one of the best products for blonde hair!

So those are our best products for blonde hair, but what would you recommend? Let us know in the comments!
