18 Summer Smoothies So Refreshing You’ll Forget It’s Hot

Summertime in New England can be hot, but these summer smoothies aren’t. Smoothies are the perfect mixture of fruit and ice cream, meaning they’re the best drink to have on those ninety degree days. These are some of my favorite recipes for summer smoothies.

1. Pineapple Cream Tropical Smoothie

This smoothie is sweet, creamy, and dairy-free. Pineapple is a great fruit for smoothies because of how sweet it is. Orange juice and pineapple juice combined make the perfect taste for sweet summer smoothies.

Ingredients:

3 cups of crushed ice

3/4 cup of DOLE pineapple juice

1/2 cup of orange juice concentrate

1/2 cup of cashew milk

1/4 teaspoon of vanilla

Steps:

2. Using the ‘liquify’ setting, blend the ingredients for 10-15 seconds, until the ice is completely crushed and the texture is slushy but smooth. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

3. Orange Pomegranate Smoothie

Pomegranates are probably one of my favorite fruits. It sounds weird to put them in a smoothie, but pomegranates make the smoothie taste that much better, especially with the orange.
