7 Smoothie Ideas That Are Fruity And Delicious

For smoothie ideas, there are many different recipes to choose from. It can be hard to choose healthy snacks or meals when you’re always on the go, and that’s why we’ve prepared 7 delicious recipes to keep you feeling full! From strawberry banana to blueberry and pineapple, we’ll get you covered with all of your favorites! One of the best parts of these smoothies is you don’t have to travel far or spend a fortune to make them. Most of these fruits and ingredients are probably already in the fridge! In 10 minutes or less, you’ll have a new favorite breakfast or snack. For 7 smoothie ideas that are both fruity and delicious, just keep reading.

1. Blueberry Banana

This first recipe is one of my favorites, and any of the following ingredients for dairy can be supplemented for something of your choice. To begin, the core essentials that you’ll need are blueberry (obviously), banana, almond butter (or peanut butter), almond milk, chia seeds, and coconut flakes, for an added taste. You can also add ice, or use frozen fruit. I personally like frozen blueberries for this recipe. Throw all of these ingredients in a blender or magic bullet, and you’ll get a blue-ish color substance that is fairly thick in consistency, but delicious! This is the perfect meal before school or work, and the peanut butter/ almond butter is a great source of protein to help you feel full. Enjoy!

2. Kiwi And Strawberry

Mmm, this next smoothie recipe will have you feeling like your on a tropical island. For the essentials, you’ll need about half a cup of strawberry, and half a cup of kiwi. The kiwi by itself is very sweet and adds a lot to your taste buds combined with the strawberry. A lot of people may not realize it because kiwi isn’t that popular but nonetheless contains sufficient antioxidants. In one serving, you’ll find vitamins C, E, and K, as well as potassium and fiber. To begin, add half a cup (or desired amount) of almond milk, a couple of ice cubes, and you’re golden. Blend until liquid, or until satisfied. For an optional add- on, you can throw in chia seeds, protein powder, coconut flakes, or your favorite topping. Drink up and enjoy it!

3. Pina-Colada

For number 3 out of 7 drinks, this is my all-time favorite smoothie, and I’m sure it’ll be yours, too. I can’t help but think that the name of this smoothie reminds me of alcohol and vacation, doesn’t it? Give your taste buds a refreshing taste of summer and paradise with this smoothie, and rethink how you do your mornings (or afternoons). To begin, gather half a cup of pineapple, one banana, half a cup of almond milk, shredded coconut flakes, a scoop of ice cubes, and (optional) coconut flavored yogurt, providing protein and thick consistency. Drink up, and enjoy!

4. Green Machine

Alright, this smoothie may not be your go-to for fruity, but it has a sweet kick to it. I promise! Start with 1-2 cups of spinach or kale, add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice, and finish with a few slices of orange. Not to mention, with this smoothie you’ll get your daily recommended intake of both fruit and vegetables, (almost), in this one drink. Some optional add-ons are chia seeds, strawberry, blueberry, etc. You can also add a scoop of protein powder for that full feeling all morning long. This particular smoothie is the best of both worlds, giving that fruity sweetness, but also providing nutrients and calcium in the kale or spinach. Drink up!

5. Classic Strawberry Banana

For those of you who crave the perfect combination of strawberry banana, this smoothie is for you! Besides, doesn’t everyone love a strawberry banana smoothie every once in a while? To begin, gather 1-2 cups of strawberries, and 1 banana (or desired amount.) Following the fruit, add your choice of milk, (I recommend almond, soy, or coconut milk.) Combine coconut flakes, and a spoonful of peanut butter, and blend until desired consistency. This smoothie is great for before work or school, post-workout, or afternoon snack! Tweek this recipe to your liking, and enjoy!

6. Raspberry Rainbow

For this fruit smoothie, get all of your favorites in one cup. You will really feel as if you are drinking a rainbow, with the bright blue and red colors.  Raspberries are a great fruit to add to any smoothie not only because they are sweet and tasty, but also are an excellent source of vitamin C. Perfectly paired with any meal, let’s get started on what you’ll need. First, gather 1-2 cups of red and blue raspberries, preferably frozen. Continue with your desired amount of either coconut, almond, soy, or cows milk. Top it off with shredded coconut, flavored Greek yogurt, and or chia seeds. Drink up and enjoy the fruity taste!

7. Mango Pineapple

Last, but not least, is the mango pineapple smoothie. Besides, who doesn’t love a smoothie with mango? You’ll feel like your laying under the palm trees somewhere warm, with just a few simple ingredients. Truly a favorite, this icy refresher is sure to give you the energy and antioxidants you need to tackle the day. The sweetness of the pineapple is perfectly paired with the tang and zest that the mango brings. If you don’t have mango, an orange will work too! Start with 1-2 cups of sliced pineapple and mango. Next, pour the fruit and your choice of milk in a blender, combined with coconut flakes, and or yogurt. You can also add orange juice instead of milk if preferred. To top it off, add a handful of ice, and blend! Grab your bag and run out the door! Enjoy this tropical drink and head out!
