Yeah I bet you just said it in your head the way it sounds coming out of the intercom after every school announcement.

2. GBPL was the place to be.

Whether it was getting your favorite spot before class, getting a ticket, or the meeting place on a Saturday night, you’ve made a memory in that lot a time or two.

3. The TRIBE.

End zone or not, we had school spirit. Whether we were at the State Championship, or losing 0-40, we never gave up on our grizzlies.

4. Sports.

Whether you were playing, or watching, the school revolved around them and keeping the championships coming.

5. TRAFFIC.

Bumper to bumper every day, every way, just trying to figure out if you knew the person in front of you, or if you’d get a spot.

6. Bomb threats.

You know when people needed an excuse to get out of one test…or a few days of class.

7. Parking tickets.

You know, when you refused to pay for a parking pass and thought you’d never get caught. Or when you are only a sophomore who just got their license and thought you’d slip through the cracks. LOL NO.

8. TARDY SLIPS.

AKA the most dreadful things about mornings. Whether you were one minute late, or twenty they would hunt you down. That walk from the office to your class was equivalent to the walk of shame.

9. Powderpuff.

One of the greatest nights for the upper-class girls, and well guys too. Who doesn’t like watching girls play football.

10. Off-Period.

The best reward for being an upperclassman. Sleeping in or leaving early it was a win.

11. Grizzly retreat.

Both exciting and terrifying, the day you learned what high school was all about.

12. You had an outfit for every decade.

Decades dance prepared you for every decade’s party or last minute Halloween costume you needed. It was the best dance of the year, especially senior year.

13. Senior Sunrise.

The day you feel on top of the world.

14. Senior Sunset.

The day you don’t want to end, or maybe can’t wait to end.

When the gates would get locked during class hours and it would make campus feel like prison, but in a good way.

17. AP Classes.

You didn’t have to take them, but boy did it feel like everyone was in them.

18. The teachers made it all worth it.

The great teachers that made class seem a little less miserable. We all know our favorites.

19. THE CANNON.

The sound you can still hear no matter what football game you are watching.

20. Green, black and silver.

Colors that will forever stain your hands, and bring back memories.
