10 Secret Spots In Boston To Go If You Haven’t Yet

When it comes to city life it’s hard to find any secrets. Everything is crowded and populated so what you may think is a secret, probably is not. Here are 10 secret spots in Boston that you hopefully don’t yet know about:

1. Bodega:

What appears to be an everyday convenience store on Clearway street is actually much more than it seems. If you stop in the store a special bouncer at the counter will open a secret door that leads into a super hip clothing store filled with shoes and much more. The clothing is expensive but totally worth the trip and experience of a secret layer type feeling.

2. Royale Nightclub:

As a popular spot for concerts and other events, the Royale Nightclub is a well known spot but offers many secrets past its closed doors. What seems to be a small club opens up into a multi-floored area with a bar, stage, and balcony. The Royale is an amazing spot for a small concert and will leave you wanting to come back for another show as soon as you can.

3. Courtyard At The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum:

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a great place to visit and view unique pieces of art, none more breathtaking than those in the courtyard. The courtyard is thriving with colorful flowers and luscious green bushes and grass, reminiscent of a place you’d find in a magnificent dream.

4. New American Cafe, Museum Of Fine Arts:

Ancient artifacts and paintings are just part of the experience at the MFA. Try a visit to the New American Cafe for a unique and delicious dining experience within the beautiful architecture of the museum. The menu is diverse and in terms of Museum dining, the New American Cafe is unparalleled.

5. Boston Public Library Cafe:

The Boston Public Library is not only a great place to go read or study in some peace and quiet, but is also a great spot for food. No outside food is allowed in, but that’s alright because the various cafes make up for it. Whether it may be a tea room, lounge, or cafe, BPL’s dining is delicious, affordable, and ultimately a great pairing with a day of studying or even just exploring.

6. Top Of The Hub, Prudential Center:

The Prudential Center is a well-known attraction of Boston, but many people don’t know about the restaurant that sits on the top floor. The prices are a bit steep, but the view is priceless. Top of the Hub is a great date spot, and you definitely won’t find many better views of Boston.

7. Tango By Moonlight:

If you’ve ever thought about learning to dance or trying it out, there’s no better way than under the moonlight on the Weeks Pedestrian Bridge. The admission is free and if you don’t feel comfortable with dancing feel free to stop by and watch. Look out for the next date because it only happens about once a month during the full moon.
