Restaurant Student Discounts You Didn’t Know Existed

Now that most colleges have been back in school for a month, it’s about the time when dining hall food begins to get old. However, many students avoid going out to eat, as they are on a serious college budget. What these students don’t know is that, much like clothing stores, there are many restaurants that offer student discounts (you just have to show your student ID). Below are some of the best deals I’ve found!

Dunkin Donuts: For all you New Englanders who need your “cawfee,” Dunkin Donuts offers a 10% student discount at participating locations!

bd’s Mongolian Grill : Bd’s offers Student Nights at select locations, during which students who present an ID can purchase a bowl of stir fry for $9.99!

Buca di Beppo: Craving Italian food? Buca di Beppo boasts 10% off at participating locations with your student ID!

Hard Rock Cafe: Are you an international student? Hard Rock Café offers a 10% discount to any student with an International Student ID card!

Amazon: Preparing for a Netflix and chill night? Why not make it Amazon and chill? Amazon Student comes with 6 months of complimentary 2-day shipping as well as many special student promotions. With Amazon Student, you can stream movies instantly and order food delivered right to your door.

Kroger’s: If you have a Kroger grocery store near you, chances are you can receive a 5% discount on all food with a student ID.

Souplantation: In the mood for some soup and salad? Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes offers students a nice 10% off all food at select locations.

Local Restaurants! Although this isn’t a guarantee, most colleges have built relationships with small, family-owned restaurants within your college’s town. Its well worth a trip off campus to explore and see how many of these great places will offer a student discount.
