5 Reasons Why I Chose To Go To Western Michigan University

1. The outstanding academic selection for major and minors.

Western is known in the state of Michigan as a great academic school that has multiple options and choices for major and minor choosing. Western is the only school in Michigan that offers interpersonal communication as a major.

2. The scholarship opportunity that were presented by other students at WMU during my visits.

During your visits to the campus you are able to talk to other students to hear how they afford college, as well as amazing scholarship opportunities that they have had. I know speaking to them while visiting helped me make my decision.

 

3. The Diverse Community

Western is known for its diverse campus. You will meet and see people from all walks of life. From new students, transfer students, and even international students as well. You will never feel like an outcast.

4. The Campus Layout

Western is a campus with big hills and an open space environment. The hills are well known for long boarding down, as well as riding bikes; one a beautiful day outside you don’t want to miss the fun.

 

5. The Kalamazoo Community

The joy the campus brings to the area is amazing. You get a feeling, as if you have been here all your life. The community bring joy to all campus games, activities, and events.
