College is where you are going to prepare for the rest of your life, make lifelong friends, and call home for the next four years. While there are so many reasons why I chose to go to Pace University, here are the top five reasons why I now call Pace home:
The city is so exciting and there is always something new to do. I also wanted to explore new cultures and I feel like I am able to do that on campus aka the city. I always knew I was meant to be a city girl so choosing a school in the city came natural to me.
For some reason I thought being in a city with millions of people is what I needed to figure out who I am and where I am meant to go in life. Since coming to Pace, I have discovered so much about myself–I do things I never thought I would before coming here.
Being in the city for school would also allow me to explore the city and gain exposure to this world. I have been able to work with several photographers since starting school at Pace. This is sort of a war of bringing academics and a hobby onto one page.
I live with my mom about an hour away from Pace so I knew I would still be able to see her as we have a close relationship.
Prior to that I was unsure if Pace was the place for me, but he sold it to me. He was just such an amazing person and was really excited about the school which confirmed that is was the place I needed to be.
