15 New Ways To Cook Your Eggs And Scramble Up Your Breakfast Routine

As we know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The tone of your breakfast sets the mood for the rest of the day and greatly affects your energy levels. Eggs are a great source of vitamin D and rich in iron. However, eating eggs in the same style every morning can become quite a bore! Break out of your routine and try something different! Here are some ways to scramble up your breakfast routine! 

1. Poached

Simmer your eggs in a small dish of boiling water. Cook egg as desired, until your yolk is as firm as you want. Season poached eggs with salt and pepper, and garlic salt. Thinly chop your poached egg and serve with salsa and toast.

2. Baked

Grab a cupcake pan for this next breakfast dish. Coat the dish with cooking spray or butter, and fill the dish with your scrambled eggs. Bake your eggs at 350 until desired texture. Top egg with bacon bits, green onions, cheese, and peppers to taste.

3. Quiche

A brunch classic, quiche is a timeless classic. Bake your eggs in the form of a quiche with a pie crust base. Quiches are often filled with ham, cheeses, spinach, and even seafood. Quiche is often paired with ketchup to dip in. Beverages that make a beautiful combo with quiche is orange juice, apple juice and fruit smoothies. 

4. Toad-in-the-hole

Toad-in-the-hole has a few different names, you may have heard of this dish being called, egg in a basket. Fry your toast in a pan with a heafty amount of butter until toasted to your desire. Make sure a circle is cut out in the middle of your bread, so your egg has a comfy home. Fry in your pan until egg is fully cooked, flip at least twice.

5. Microwave Scrambles

Don’t have time to bake or cook in the morning? Microwave scrambles will be your best friend. Grab a microwave-safe bowl & whip eggs into a bowl. Add select toppings & microwave until cooked all the way through. Put in a plastic tupperware dish for breakfast on the go. Pair this with your coffee in a to-go cup and you will be fueled all day!

6. Tamagoyaki

A well-loved dish in Japan, this egg dish is created by rolling many layers of eggs altogether. Practice makes perfect, this dish can be hard to master the first time you attempt it–don’t give up! You will often see them in a square or rectangle shape. Enjoy with a side of fresh fruit and milk! 

 

7. Italian Sausage and Egg Bake

This dish is perfect if you have a little bit more time on your hands when it comes to prepping. Gather your bread, sausage, eggs, and veggies, and get ready to bake. How long you bake depends on how big your dish is. The more eggs the better! This egg bake tastes amazing with french toast. Pair with fresh juices and fruits!

8. Shakshouka

Another baked dish, shakshouka is often paired with feta and tomato paste. Heat oil in your pan before adding eggs to bake. Build eggs, feta, and tomato sauce mix into the pan. Evenly layer extra cheese on top for a cheesy masterpiece. Bake for roughly seven to ten minutes. Sprinkle parsley on top for extra pizzaz. 

9. Smoked Salmon Deviled Style

Who doesn’t love deviled eggs? When you add smoked salmon to the mix, it’s even better. Boil your eggs and let them cool before diving into preparing this dish. Slice eggs in half and fill with smoked salmon mixture. This dish can often be seen being fried, after filling, for an extra crunch. Pair with fresh fruit and juice to enjoy to the fullest.

10. Egg and Potato Salad Cups

A dish that can be used for breakfast or even transitioned into lunch! This funky dish is also called Potato salad bites, and they are just to die for! If mayo is your best friend, this is the dish for you.

11. Baked In Hash Brown Cups

This is a perfect dish for hash brown lovers. Create cup-cake-like cups with hash browns and bake. After hash browns are as firm as you would like, add your eggs! Bake until fully cooked. Pair with apple or orange juice. Hash brown cups are a lovely combo with bacon or a side of ham.

12. Italian Egg Bread Bowl

Hollow out an Italian bread, to create a bowl-like shape. Fill your bowl with eggs and veggies. This dish is perfect for someone who is creative, add whatever your heart desires, into this dish and enjoy. Some ideas are ham, cheeses, veggies, bacon, and spices.

13. Pepper Ring

Cook your egg, sunny side up, nestled inside of a pepper ring. Warm a skillet with either butter or cooking spray–until butter is golden. Fry pepper before adding the egg to the skillet. Wait until pepper is golden brown and then add the scrambled egg into the center. Pepper rings pair greatly with yogurt or granola bars for a healthy start to the day. Feel free to melt cheese on your pepper ring. 

14. Avocado Galore

Who doesn’t love avocado toast? a go-to breakfast for so many people! However, this time we are going to add eggs to our avocado toast. Whether the egg is scrambled or sunny side up, lay eggs atop sliced avocado on toast. Season to perfection and serve with a side of hash browns. 

15. Onion Rings

Just like the pepper ring, this time with an onion! Continue to heat butter or cooking spray in a pan until golden brown. Onion Rings taste amazing with bagels and jam! Just like our pepper ring, feel free to melt cheese on your onion ring. Delish!
