10 Minimal Looks For A Night Out

These minimal looks for a night out can be worn for almost any event throughout the year. Some might require layering and accessorizing, but as long as you have these basics down, you can’t go wrong!

1. Classic Jeans and T-shirt

You can’t go wrong with the classic jeans and t-shirt look. You can only make this look better. Accessories are your friend with this simple look. Rock this look with your favorite heels and these Chain Hoops and a full face for a night out or with your comfy sneakers, this Knotted Headband, eyeliner, and lipstick for a more relaxed look. Either way, the look is minimal and still makes a statement.

2. Jumpsuit Casual

Jumpsuits are not only comfy but very versatile. While our model below has a long jumpsuit, some also have shorter lengths for the summer or with extra material to look like a dress. If you get a look like the one below, wear some heels and Black Floral Studs so that the jumpsuit can speak for itself. If you opt for a more minimal jumpsuit, grab a statement bag like this Astrology Bag. Complete this look with some lashes and lipstick and you are ready for the night!

3. Business Casual

Of all these minimal looks, the business-casual aesthetic was made for the Friday after-work drinks. With a simple tee under your Black Chain Blazer, there is no worry in looking too professional at the bar. With a little lace like the Notched Blazer has, you could even keep the blazer on. Complete this minimal look with a simple 3 Heart Necklace and a bold lip and enjoy your night out! If blazers are not your thing, try a Ruffled Blouse instead. This one is cute enough to wear all night!

4. Statement Sweaters

Sweaters are sometimes hard to make minimal looks attractive, but it all depends on the sweater. If you can find one with a cut-out like our model below, the job is done! Turtleneck Sweaters are a classic and are always statement worthy with a long necklace like the Zodiac Necklace. They not only bring attention to your shape but create a simple look that goes a long way with various accessories. Apply a nude look to keep a casual demeanor. Try an Ear Climber earring as a conversation starter and if you are feeling really adventurous, try a Knit Bodysuit Sweater with your favorite jeans. The neckline will for sure emphasize your minimal look with no extra effort.

5. Dress and Thigh Highs

The dress and thigh-high shoes are a great minimal look. The classic look can be layered with a Waterfall Wide Collar Coat that should be worn open to accentuate your shape. If it is not coat season just yet, try it with a long Pattern Cardigan Sweater that will complement your dress and shoe color. If you want an even simpler look, get a Plaid Blanket Scarf that will make you look minimally elegant at the night outing. Simple eyeliner and red lipstick will compliment your entire chic look.

6. Matching Sets

Matching sets have been popular for a while and are now seen as Lounge Wear, but they are more than that. The Floral Leggings pictured below are a low effort outfit that can emphasize your body shape at the outing. Less is more with a matching set, but you can pair less bold sets with Quartz Threader Earrings to complete your look. If your night out is more casual, grab the short Comic Matching Set as a conversation starter. Try to keep your accessories on the low end so that your overall look does not look busy.

7. Athleisure

Athleisure is more than just yoga pants and a sweater. While not traditionally evening wear, if worn correctly, they can look chic like the Badass Leggings that not only confirm the type of person you are but can also be words of encouragement. Wear barefaced or with simple makeup. You can also get a matching Tie-Dye Hoodie and Tie-Dye Shorts set to create a statement at the gym or the park. Don’t forget your Print Cotton Face Masks if you decide to do so!

8. Accessory Jacket

This is my favorite look: the rebel. With a leather jacket that can be used as an accessory or outerwear, so many minimal looks can be made. If worn with a skirt like the model below, try some Holographic Combat Boots to add a little flair. I prefer classic black skinny jeans, so a Sunflower Choker would be a cute grunge accessory. Dark lipstick and eyeliner can finish a moody look, or pop on some glitter eyeshadow for a balancing act. Hair accessories would be great with this look like the rhinestone Black Girl Magic Hair Pins.

9. Hoodie Sweater Dress

Simple and comfy, hoodie sweater dresses are another perfect minimal night-out look. Pair this solid black look with a Tiny Opal Necklace and stud earrings. If you are looking for patterns, try Star Print Hoodie Dress. Make sure your highlight is visible or wear glitter eyeliner, add this cute Make Your Own Magic Book Bag and your minimal look is complete!

10. Crop Top And High Waist Jeans

A go-to summer look is a crop top and high waist jeans. It is a perfect outfit, so in the winter, try to wear crop top sweaters like this Zip Crop Top Hoodie. This hoodie is great because you can wear two crop tops or a bodysuit and have two outfits in one! Depending on the season, a bare face works in the summer, while a full face is helpful in the winter. Another crop sweater is the Knit Crop Sweater which is nice enough to wear to a work outing as well. Pair either of these looks with Rose Quartz Drop Earrings and your favorite flats to complete your minimal look!
