The strong female leads in this movie and the funny and witty plot makes this movie perfect for a girls night in. It’s easy going but you’ll still get invested in the characters, as you watch bad boy Patrick Verona fall in love with the abrasive and opinionated Cat.

It follows the lives of rich Beverly Hills high school girl Cher and her best friends Dionne and Tai as they navigate high school and falling in love. It’s sweet and funny and features some great fashion moments, including Cher’s iconic yellow plaid suit.
Steve Carrel plays the recently divorced Cal, who has hit rock-bottom, that is until womanizer Jacob played by Ryan Gosling, comes into his life and gives him a full-on glow up. The movie also follows other storylines of Cal’s children and even their babysitter. It’s a funny and easy watch perfect for a good laugh with the girls.
