The 5 Most Instagrammable Coffee Shops Around Temple University

Most college students need coffee to get through their busy days and late nights. While there are chains such as Saxby’s and Starbucks on campus, there are lesser-known coffee shops as well. From the main campus to the Center City campus, there is a coffee shop for everyone within walking distance of class. Here are the 5 most Instagrammable coffee shops around Temple University.

1. Richie’s

Located right near Anderson and Gladfelter Halls on 12th Street and Polette Walk, Richie’s is one of the most popular coffee spots on campus. They serve a variety of food, but they also offer hot iced coffee to give you the boost you need to get through your classes. Their iced coffee comes in French vanilla, caramel, or hazelnut flavors.

2. Cloud Coffee

Cloud Coffee is a coffee truck on Norris Street near Tyler School of Art. They offer regular coffee as well as special flavors and seasonal options. The truck is owned and operated by Temple graduates, and they are making an effort to promote the arts. They even have an award that they give to artists across the country whose work is making an impact.

3. La Colombe

La Colombe has 30 shops in seven cities in the United States, so it is still a relatively small company compared to Starbucks. Their Dilworth Plaza shop is located near Temple University’s Center City campus. They offer various flavors and varieties of coffees to fit every need and taste. You can have your coffee there or take it to go.

4. Saige Café

Saige Café is located on Warnock Street, which is between the Septa Regional Rail station and the campus. It is located in the Commuter’s Lounge, so it is perfect for commuters to grab something on the way home or on the way to campus. They offer a variety of coffee and flavors. They also offer a variety of food options, from breakfast pastry to sandwiches and salads.

5. Passero’s Coffee Roasters

Passero’s Coffee Roasted, which was established in 1990, has a variety of locations in Philadelphia. There is one located in the Wanamaker Building right near City Hall, which is within walking distance of Temple’s Center City campus. They offer a variety of coffees from around the world and a wide variety of flavors and blends.
