Life. A simple four-word letter word that can hold a plethora of different emotions and meanings. When discussing how we are living life, we always tend to split the topic into two distinct categories to help us decipher which we are. And those two categories are living your best life or just existing. Everyone wants to and strives to be in the living your best life category but a lot of times, realize that they are in the just existing category.
A lot of times, you can so smoothly fall into the just existing category of life because you have so much going on. You could be struggling with an insane amount of bills, family drama, raising kids and trying to balance your school and work life. When you have so much going on, you let it steal your peace and joy. And your circumstances just feel too great that you can’t live how you want to. These are all prime examples of just existing in life.
When you are in the living your best life category, you are in a completely different space. You never let things nor circumstances steal your peace and joy, you always have a positive mentality, you believe that nothing is impossible, and you are working towards making all your dreams a reality. Living your best life has different meanings for everyone but the common denominator is feeling pure happiness.
Life is never going to be perfect for any of us. We all are going to experience our own trials and tribulations but, that does not mean that we have to just exist in life. Life is meant to be lived to its fullest especially because it is way too short! So, get out of the just existing category in life because you feel “safe” or think that’s how you “should” live. Make a conscious effort every day, to be in the living your best life category and be all you aspire to be!
