Valentine’s day gifts are things most people look forward to when this holiday comes around, but it definitely depends on your significant other and how they feel about gifts to know if they are really looking forward to getting something.
This list is for all the procrastinators out there, you are probably reading this at 2 A.M. on Valentine’s Day looking up “valentine’s day gifts to get last second” or something like that. After struggling for so long, and stressing out like you, my procrastinating days are long behind me, but because I have been in the same boat as you many times, I’ve come up with last minute Valentine’s Day gifts to buy your significant other if you’re a procrastinator.
Cocktail Book
This is one of those Valentine’s day gifts that can be gifted the year your significant other is turning 21 or is perfect for any time after that! You two can look through the book and create fancy cocktails for each other and you have lots of options and time to make use of this book! It’s practical (as long as the two of you or one of you enjoys making cocktails) and can be used many times. You two may even find some of our favorite drinks from this and can create fun, cute, and sexy memories from the nights spent in making these drinks.

This is one of those Valentine’s day gifts that’s for people 21 and up. You know your significant other best, so you know which alcohol to get them. If you are not sure what your significant other’s favorite alcohol is, you can go out and get smaller sizes of what you think they like and work with whatever is being offered.Â

Stylish Flannel
This is something I believe most people would appreciate, but if your significant other does not mess around with flannels, you can skip over this one. Almost everyone appreciates a good flannel to layer over a t-shirt when it’s chilly out or tie around their waist as a cute accessory. You also know if your significant other prefers style over comfort or comfort over style – so when you are out shopping at the 24-hour store that sells clothes, be sure to check out the options and get the valentine’s day gifts that they will appreciate. You may be doing this last second, but you’re going to get one of their preferences right! This is also a practical gift because they can wear it a lot and they can wear it during the next fall season and won’t have to go out and buy their own new one! This is one of those Valentine’s day gifts that is a classic. You can not be waiting until 12 A.M. though, although you might be able to run to the store in the early A.M. hours of actual Valentine’s day, but that’s really pushing it. Nice perfume or cologne is sold at stores that usually close around 9 or 10 P.M. so you have to plan to give yourself time to go out and get it before they close. You also know your significant other best and know what they wear, what fragrances they like, and what to get them. If you’re at a loss, ask the attendant about certain notes you’ve noticed them wearing. If they don’t wear any perfume or cologne, ask the attendant for scents that have notes you would appreciate and think they would smell nice wearing. You may be the person who finds them their signature scent!

Out of all the Valentine’s day gifts, this is one that, to me, holds more sentimental value than the rest. It shows you pay attention to their likes and interests and even though they can listen to this album anytime thanks to streaming music services, you got them a physical album (whether it be a CD, vinyl, or a tape) because you know they love it. This requires a little extra time, but hopefully you have a record shop or store nearby that has lots of music options available that you can pop into the day of Valentine’s or the day before. You should call in advance asking if they have the album so you do not waste time going into the store only to be disappointed! Calling saves so much time no matter how much you hate it, and if you’re procrastinating, you want to save as much of the little time you have left.

A Warm Good Quality Sweater
This is one of those Valentine’s day gifts that you should not skimp on or go cheesy on. I mean, you could go cheesy on it if you think your significant other would laugh at it and appreciate more that way, but I think going practical and high quality on this will make it look like you didn’t wait until the last second. I definitely think investing in something nice here is a good idea because sweaters are more so from peoples grandmas, not a significant other. This is one of those Valentine’s day gifts that if you’re going to get it for them, you’ve got to go big. Get them a color they look stunning in, one that fits their body perfectly, one they can wear to any event and one that will last them forever.
