As she hit stardom and to fame, she certainly won people over with creative outfits over the years. There are plenty of outfits that you surely did not miss. 1. Alexander McQueen Red Lace Dress

In 2008, Lady Gaga was first starting out her career, later that year, she published her first album The Fame. By 2009, a sequel album The Fame Monster was released, giving her time to rank up in recognition. At the 2009 MTV Video Awards, when accepting her award, Lady Gaga stunned everyone with her bright red lace dress made by Alexander McQueen. Along with it was a custom-made Haus of Gaga crown. Gaga isn’t afraid to wear the most bizarre outfits and dresses as long as she is comfortable. Since then, Lady Gaga was known to wear all kinds of outrageously unique outfits made by McQueen. Lady Gaga’s debut appeared on several media outfits, making her name slightly more known.

2. Giorgio Armani Privé

Beginning the year with her flare, Lady Gaga had chosen to wear a Giorgio Armani custom dress that is pink and encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Walking the red carpet for the 2010 Grammy Awards, she did not hesitate to strike a pose. With this iconic outfit, Gaga was commented as a Barbie doll. Perhaps the blonde and yellow locks inspired her for the character in her music video for the song “Telephone” at the time. Headlines over the years couldn’t keep the names Lady Gaga and Giorgio Armani apart as this was another designer she deeply admired. Giorgio Armani dresses have been strictly worn by Lady Gaga over the years and she has never looked drab.

3. Franc Fernandez Meat Dress

As another award show favorite, the meat dress by Lady Gaga, is the meat dress styled by Brandon Maxwell who was asked to created such a thing. He instinctively knew Lady Gaga was the candidate to present this dress to the world. In 2010, the singer wore the iconic outfit at the 2010 MTV Music Awards accepting an award for Video of the Year. The meat selected for this concept is matambre, an Argentinian delicacy inspired by the fashion designer’s childhood. Prior to the meat dress, she interestingly wore a bikini-like ensemble made of another meat. Backlash from activists and vegan-supporters have expressed their disgust toward the iconic outfit. Shortly after the awards, this dress was placed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

4. Sarah Burton Elizabethan Gown

Alexander McQueen’s passing in 2010 has not stopped the singing goddess from wearing artistic pieces from his stylebook. Lady Gaga made her acting debut starring alongside Bradley Cooper in his alteration of the 1978 film, A Star Is Born. Gaga was the perfect cast in the role of Ally, as she came from hardship and ambitiously hustled through her song creations. As A Star is Born was globally premiered, she had the cleverest ensembles for all red carpet events. In particular, Lady Gaga wore a Sarah Burton-designed gown from 2013. Entrancing onlookers and photographers, she had on a gold corset complete with a ruff, skirt, and sleeves. Highly fitting for the premiere in London, the whole thing was perceived as an honorable presentation.

At the 2019 Oscars Award ceremony, Lady Gaga made headlines once again for her visual performance in A Star Is Born. By now, people are used to seeing Mother Monster in rather unusual outfits, they wouldn’t be iconic outfits without her unique sense of style after all.
