Winter weddings are really fun, but also really cold. When dressing for a winter wedding, layers are the key to success. You want to stay warm, while looking like the best dressed man there. From manscaping to your attire, here is how to kill it at the next winter wedding you attend!
Suit Jacket
Suits are the best way to look dapper at a wedding. When it comes to a winter wedding, you want to go with the heavier materials; heavy cotton, tweed, velvet (if you’re daring) and wool. You also want to wear a vest, zip up, or waist coat to give you that extra lining. When choosing a color, you want to go with greys, deep reds, browns, and deep blues.
Copy this look:
Pants
When it comes to pants, you can either match them directly with the coat for the full suit or you can mix colors and blends. Go for a slim or fitted style pants for the most stylish look!
Shirt
You should keep your shirt as basic as possible to let your suit do all the talking. Go for a white or grey fitted or slim fit shirt!
Tie
There are two ways you can go with your tie choice. You can keep things really simple with a basic colored tie or you can have fun and try a pattern. Either way, you should go with a skinnier tie.
Shoes
For any of the suit ideas above, you can go with either brown or black shoes, but I would really recommend a brown color. Oxford style is the best look for any wedding outfit!
Accesories
Accessories are an overlooked step to pulling your entire winter wedding outfit together. You can’t show up to a wedding in a suit without a nice watch. You can also wear a tie clip for a really clean look!
Manscape
In the winter, you most likely let your hair go, don’t shave as often (or ever), and have little to no manscaping in your daily routine. But, it’s important that you groom yourself for the wedding!
If you follow these tips, you will most definitely be the best dressed man at that winter wedding!
