Have you ever heard that when someone goes through a really hard time the one that suffers the most it’s their hair? Well, we can’t deny that fact, but we also think that when we want a huge change in our life to happen, we start by changing our looks. And why not start with our hair? It’s a risky move, especially if you go with a bold color, but don’t worry, hair can be cut, changed, dyed again, it grows again or just embrace and love the way you look for now on. We have decided on bringing you some bold hair colors you might have thought about before but are not really sure about trying it.
If you fall for any of the color suggestions we have, we say go for it, don’t be afraid! Just be sure to treat your hair nicely if you start dying it, use some recovery masks and hydration treatments to avoid ruining it. Also, go to professional if you can, it might be a little more expensive, but you can assure yourself your hair is being treated with care and that the person you go to knows what it is doing. Remember that if you change your hair color you can also change your eyebrows color, but it’s not really necessary, just something you could do if you wanted to. Kiss good-bye to the traditional hair colors we have been seeing for ages and as we say life is too short for not experimenting with every hair color shade possible!
1. Carrots To My Hair
If you ever listened to the band Paramore you might remember the lead singer had an unusual hair color, well, now you can get it too! This orange shade will brighten up your days, definitely a bold color to try on, but the results are extra pretty. You can try it in different shades, from vibrant orange to a more reddish kind of shade.
2. Rapunzel Vibes

Doesn’t matter if you have kilometers long hair just like Rapunzel did, or short to medium length hair you can still rock this hair shade! A yellow tone like this one will surely catch lots of looks but definitely will keep you glowing.
3. Never Too Whimsical
Mixing color shades is a most when you want a bold makeover! This time we bring you the idea of combining different shades of purple and pink to create a whimsical look. You could throw some lavender, purple, pale pink and even strikes of grey to the mix to create a unique color combination that will be making you feel like your hair came out of a fairytale!
4. Personality Clash
Sometimes we really can’t decide if we embrace our colorful side or our most dark parts, and as an individual, we tend to have both. We recommend loving both equally! And maybe trying it on your hairstyle too. Divide your hair in half and on one side you can keep your natural color shade or dye it a darker one, but on the other side play with a rainbow look. It’s like becoming the modern Cruella Devil!
5. Feel The Blues
Blue is such a moody color! It can make you feel calm, empowered or even strong like the sea. If really adds a sweet vibe to the face of whoever has a blue-colored hair. Plus, it looks super good if you have dark natural hair, if you use a blue shade and leave your roots their natural color, it will also save you a few bucks since you won’t be needing to dye your hair that often!
6. Electric Neon
When we say bold colors, we include from pastel shades to bright neon colors. And with this green shade, you will experiment the hair color worth of the most amazing parties. This color shade can be combined with a few strikes of neon pink to transform it into an even bolder look. You could even create a degrade of green neon shades that even turn a bit yellowish. And create an accent with a brighter shade like neon pink or electric blue.
7. Cotton Candy Magic
Pastel shades are always a win when it comes to change, you’re the way your hair looks, it doesn’t matter your skin tone, because every pastel shade combines well with every skin tone. Its juts las if they were meant to be! Be sure to try a combination of pastel pink, light blue, lilac, and pearl white tones to create a complete magical effect for your hair. Don’t be alarmed if your hair ends up looking as pretty as a cotton candy because you have been warned!
8. Grey Came Early
Forget the idea that grey hair it’s only for an older woman because the trend it’s here and we are loving it! It’s not only a really gorgeous color, but it also gives you an elegant and kind of mysterious vibe. You can match hair color with a dark base or create a degrade from a darker shade of grey to the lightest one, which also looks really cool. You can take your grandma as an inspiration for this look and encourage her to embrace her unique grey look!
9. Chocolate Best Friend
Mint is one of our favorite flavors, but it doesn’t limit to that, it’s also one of our favorite color shades. Adding a mint color to your hair, will not only add you a mermaid kind of vibe, but it will also make you feel refresh since it’s such a bright color that gives us the feeling as if our hair was just magically done every morning. This color shade can also be combined with other pastel colors or if you want you can do it just on the tips of your hair without losing style.
10. Burning Up
Don’t worry, no one is going to be harmed by this look. But it’s definitely a fire shade made just for the boldest ones out there. With a degrade of from a burning red on the roots, to light orange on the tips, this hairstyle looks as if your hair was really on fire. You can intensify the colors as you desire, but the combination will always be as gorgeous as a result!
