Plus, with these ideas and locations, there’s no way you won’t have tons of fun!
Everyone loves flowers! The colors make for a beautiful, fun aesthetic. Scout out a field or a farm with lots of flowers, grab a friend and a camera and have a blast taking cute photos of each other for the gram. Try laying down in the field and getting your friend to take a photo from above. You could also sit amongst the flowers, pick a couple and hold them in from of you, or stand in front of them while your friend takes a panoramic photo. Alternatively, if you can’t find a whole field, try going into your garden and take simple headshots using the flowers you find there as a background!
Everyone has an adorable photo of them eating ice cream on Insta! Take it one step further by snapping a pic inside the parlor! Choose a cute local place with wood paneling and chalk signs, or try an older place with 50s inspired decor. Mix it up and choose a couple locations to take photos at. Try out different poses such as a photo of you looking at the ice cream flavors, a photo of you and your friend with your ice cream, or a photo of you in front of the shop!
Take a throwback photoshoot and pretend you’re a kid again! Go to the store and pick up a cheap bubble blowing kit or make your own bubbles with dish soap and grab your camera! Blow some bubbles and have your friend capture you at different angles. Try side profile photos and photos where the bubbles are covering your face! Enjoy the freedom and nostalgia that comes with blowing bubbles and get tons of likes while you’re at it!
Go on a road trip! Summer road trips are seriously underrated and can be super fun. Make your photo shoot an adventure! They’re a great chance to get to know people better, get to know people you’re not super close with (yet), and to spend quality time with friends you love! Plan a road trip and have even more fun trying to get the perfect shot of your friends goofing off or looking like a model unintentionally.
Who doesn’t love those photos of people surrounded by plants? The best photos are the ones that make it look like you’re in a surreal location. Create that look of being completely free in a place no one knows about with this cool idea. Go to a place that sells tons of plants in a big open space (like a nursery) and take photos of you in front of them. Take close up photos with trees in the background, take some far away photos with flowers in the back, or snap a couple pics of you in a greenhouse surrounded by plants. For an added effect, blur the background in photoshop when you’re done!
