Happy Independence Day! Fourth of July can be one of the best holidays to look forward to due to good food, good friends, and fun summer activities! I mean who doesn’t love America, hot dogs, and pool parties?! Here are some tips and ideas to throw the best, ultimate bash for Fourth of July this year!
It is that time of year where it is perfectly acceptable to rock out to “Party in the USA” today! Make a great playlist for your bash including some Kane Brown pop country, Bon Jovi old school rock, and some extra patriotic tunes to get in the mood! Throw in some fun summer jams in there as well and you will have an extra playlist for your party!
It is July so it might be a good idea to throw this Fourth of July bash either by a body of water or including some water works such as sprinklers, water balloons, water guns etc. Pool parties are usually a great go-to since everyone can cool off easily and have a great time in the water. If you happen to live close to a lake or a beach, you can also throw your bash out there! Prep some floaties and volleyballs to have a fun summer day while getting that tan! Be sure to get that cute American flag bikini out!
Fourth of July is the best and easiest holiday by far in terms of food; get those buns out and get grilling! Keep it super simple with the food choices for your Fourth of July bash. Prepare some hot dogs, chips, burgers, ice cream and sweet treats, corn, salads, beer and alcoholic beverages, and some fruit! Who doesn’t love a classic grill out?! You can also get creative with your menu by looking up some Pinterest ideas on Fourth of July snacks and entrees! Your guests will not be complaining for sure!
Make it a super fun Fourth of July bash and get some games going! Drinking games can be very funny to play such as “Hail To The Governor” and beer pong. You can also bring out the classics such as Twister, Karaoke, Charades etc. For some extra patriotic fun, get some sparklers for your guests and maybe take them to the nearest fireworks show in your town! There are usually also a lot of live music concerts, festivals, carnivals, and entertainment activities going on in your local areas around this time of the month that one can usually look up on the internet!
What is party without all of the right decor? Stop by your local Party City store and get some patriotic gear for your bash. Go all out in American flags and red, white, and blue! Be sure to tell your friends to dress for the occasion of course and maybe even get matching outfits with your girls! It is perfectly appropriate to rock out those cute daisy dukes, cowboy boots, and tie tops today!
Towards the end of the night, you can totally make a bonfire to keep the night going! Get some marshmallows, graham crackers, and Hershey’s ready for some s’mores! Make sure you provide some warm blankets for your crew if it gets cold at night. It is a classic, American activity that is super chill yet loads of fun when celebrating with your pals.
