We’ve all heard the term “beer belly.” Alcohol is a big contributor to belly fat. It slows down your metabolism through depressing your central nervous system. Also, studies found that it had an abundance of fat and calories. You might feel pretty bloated the day after you drink. Personally, I feel bloated all of my body even my face feels pretty puffy. It is recommended that women drink a maximum of 1 alcoholic beverage a day, while men drink a maximum of 2.

3. Dairy

Speaking of being bloated, dairy products usually cause bloating because it causes gas. Try cutting out any dairy products, if you do notice a difference, try lactose free milk. You can also try almond milk, a great solution for lactose intolerant people.

4. Meat

Processed meats like bacon, sausage and deli meat are the least healthy meats you can eat. There was a study where people who ate processed meats had a larger waistline than those who did not. You don’t have to give unprocessed meats entirely but make it more of a once in a while kind of thing. But you do not have to worry about unprocessed meats because they don’t have the same correlation.
