15 Food Places In Memphis That Are Worth Trying

Memphis is home to many great restaurants and it can be hard to choose where to eat. These 15 food places in Memphis are the ones you should focus on.

1. Ribs from Blues City Cafe

I love to come to this restaurant before events at the FedExForum. Right on the
edge of Beale Street.

2. Gumbo Cheese Fries from Blues City Cafe

What can I say? This restaurant is just pure awesome, and this is a must-have
appetizer.

3. Cheesecake from Cheesecake Corner

The hours are very limited because they are only open on weekends, but this
cheesecake is homemade every day and is dang good. Make sure to get there
before they run out each day!

4. Oreo donut from Gibson’s

Gibson’s has so many options, but personally, the Oreo donut is my favorite.

5. Smoked sausage from One and Only BBQ

All of the smoked meats here are to die for, but the smoked sausage is my
personal favorite.

6. BBQ baked potato from the Commissary

Who would have thought to put BBQ on a baked potato? Memphis would.

7. Beef Brisket Gnocchi from Ciao Bella

This pasta dish is a perfect dish to go try on a nice night out.

8. Catfish from The Original Wolf River Cafe

They are known for their catfish, but anything at this restaurant is to die for. This
is some good southern cooking. It is located in Rossville.

9. Cinnamon roll pancakes from Stacks

Cinnamon roll + pancakes = perfection

10. Garlic My App from Rockin Dough

This appetizer is so good, you’re going to order more before your food even
comes out.
