Fall Potato Soup Recipes So Incredible That You Won’t Believe It

Fall is the perfect season for warm comfort food, especially soup. There are a bunch of yummy potato soup recipes out there and I’m going to introduce you to the best ones to make for this upcoming fall season. Believe me when I say the flavor is there for all of them!

Creamy Red Potato Soup

There’s nothing better than digging into a soup that is creamy, fresh, and extra filling. Instead of using Yukon gold potatoes, this recipe calls for red. No need to be alarmed, though…the flavor and everything you would expect a creamy potato soup to be is still there. You can top the soup with shredded cheese and chopped bacon to accentuate the flavors already there, as well as add a little something extra to the dish.

Autumn Carrot And Sweet Potato

This fall-inspired soup is perfect for you if you’re big on savory with a hint of sweet. There’s also a good chance you have all of the ingredients in your kitchen already so it can easily be made on a chill fall afternoon when you have nothing else to do. The recipe calls for about a pound of carrots peeled and chopped, yellow onion, chicken broth, a bit of curry powder, honey, and one apple. Once they all get blended together, you can season it to your liking and then serve it up!

German Potato Soup

There’s nothing better than a classic German potato soup to go along with the chilly fall weather. Bursting with flavor and an array of vegetables, this German classic is probably one of the easiest soup recipes you’ll ever follow. There are a whole bunch of versions and ways of making this soup, but like you should keep in mind whenever you’re cooking something, do what works and tastes best to you. In terms of making the recipe, the first step is to fry the bacon and begin sautéing the onions. Then you add the garlic, chicken broth, and herbs to the mix. You then bring this to a boil and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, adding fresh parsley, salt, and pepper to taste and garnish. Then…that’s it! The soup is ready to be served and eaten.

Potato Soup With Chicken

This creamy potato soup is so rich in taste, comforting, and healthy to eat. Yes, I said it. Healthy. It’s my favorite thing making food recipes that look and taste like something you might want to feel guilty over eating but in reality, it is pretty healthy. This soup dish is packed with protein and vegetables! It can also be made low-fat if you substitute the regular bacon for turkey bacon. It’s gluten and dairy-free, so feel free to stick that heavy cream back into the fridge. It has bacon, onion, garlic, russet potatoes (my favorite), chicken breast, carrots, celery, chicken broth, dried thyme, chopped parsley, and of course salt and pepper to taste. For the best results, you should definitely use a slow cooker or crockpot.
