It’s never too early (or late) to come up with an easy Halloween costume this year. Whether you’re flying solo or going with a group, we have you covered. These costumes are easy enough to put together right up until the last minute. Plus, they’re are cute enough to post to social media!
1. Scooby Doo Gang
“Ruh Roh”, this easy Halloween costume is sure to bring back memories! Have your group dress up as the members of the Scooby Doo Gang (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby). They wear everyday outfits, so coming up with the costume pieces should be a snap. Have someone dress up as Scooby or be sure to bring a stuffed one with you!
2. 101 Dalmatians
You don’t have to have 101 people in your group to pull off the 101 Dalmatians’ group costume! It works best with larger groups, but as long as everyone dresses the same (spots can differ), it shouldn’t matter. Everyone should have on white clothes and black spots decorating them. Make sure there is someone to be “Cruella De Vil”, with her faux fur coat and everything.
We’re getting major Pirates of the Caribbean vibes with this costume. Dress up as your favorite pirate this Halloween. Get the whole group involved to have an entire pirate crew! Eye patches, swords and parrots galore. The possibilities are endless when putting these costumes together. Plus, don’t forget every good pirate will be looking for treasure throughout the night. How fun would it be to have someone dress up as the treasure chest!
4. Pac Man
Everyone’s favorite arcade game is the perfect last minute Halloween costume. Mr. and Mrs. Pac Man are hungry for ghosts and cherries, so make sure there is enough to fill them up! Have everyone pick a character and find clothing in the corresponding colors. If they’re creative enough, have them make their shirts into ghost shapes and add eyes. Make sure you don’t get caught by the Pac Mans throughout the night.
You use them in every text you send, so this year you might as well dress up as an emoji face. There are so many face expressions to choose from, so there is something for everyone in your group. The heart eyes, the winking face and so many more. Have everyone in the group where matching yellow tops and each can have there own expression. Line up together so others can tell who you are.
1. Spice Girls
The Spice Girls were iconic back in the day. Each member had their own stage name and style that went with it. This Halloween, have your girl group dress up as the “spiciest” girls around. See what we did there. Have everyone choose a different member of the band and make sure to take a mix tape photo! Twist: instead of the band members, have the girls dress up as actually “spices”. When people ask what you are, you can say “I’m a Spice Girl”.
2. Powerpuff Girls
Sugar, spice and everything nice. The Powerpuff Girls are one of the most well-known cartoon girl groups. It’s a super cute and easy Halloween costume that you can pull off last minute. The characters are Blossom (pink), Bubbles (blue) and Buttercup (green). Each of the girls have on their color coordinated dresses, white socks and black shoes. If that color isn’t in your closet, you can always run out to buy an oversized t-shirt and make it into a dress!
3. Girl Scouts
If you love Girl Scout cookies, you might as well dress up as a Girl Scout for Halloween. Get ready to break out your old uniform and badges. Just kidding, but you will need a green or tan skirts and white tops to pull off the look! Add pins onto a sash to act as badges and call it a day. Don’t forget to ask everyone if they want to buy Girl Scout cookies!
4. Deck Of Cards (Queens)
Would you rather be a queen of hearts or diamonds? Be whoever you want with this easy Halloween costume idea. The deck of cards costume is simple, easy and fun. Start with white shirts and design them with the queen of each suit (heart, diamond, spade and club). Add in some great makeup and fun bottoms (like tutus) and you’ll be ready to go.
5. Hercules’ Muses
Who wouldn’t want to dress up as a Greek goddess and go around singing? We know we would! These ladies represent the arts like comedy, storytelling and singing. Get your girl group together and dress up as the Muses. Make a DIY toga or even use a long white gowns as the dresses. Add some gold shoes and jewelry and you’ll “be on a roll”.

Get yourself a “hunka, hunka burning love”. Elvis and Priscilla were once Hollywood’s favorite couple and looking back at pictures you can see why. Grab your partner and recreate this look for an easy Halloween costume. For Elvis, it’s all about jumpsuits and over the top embellishments. For a DIY costume wear all white and break out your old bedazzler! When it comes to Priscilla it’s all about the big hair, winged eyeliner and matching outfits.
2. Lilo and Stitch
If there was ever a couple who loved each other for who they are, it’s Lilo and Stitch. Their names literally mean lost and found! Dress up as this adorable couple with your partner or best friend. Lilo’s costume can be the grass shirk and red top with a grass headpiece. Stitch can be in the same outfit except with a blue top and ears! Super easy to put together, yet people will still know exactly who you dressed up as.
3. Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin
Netflix’s Tiger King took the world by storm. It was like watching a train wreck; you couldn’t look away. Some of the more prominent characters were Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. Joe is famous for his mullet and animal print shirts. Carole is famous for her tie dye shirts and flower headbands. With only a little effort, you and your partner can dress up as these tiger loving semi famous people.
4. Bob Ross and Artwork
Is there anything more calming than watching a Bob Ross painting video? We don’t think so! This Halloween you and your partner can dress up as Bob and his artwork. Bob’s costume is easy enough with a blue button down shirt and jeans. As for the “artwork”, there are a couple of costume options. You can have a shirt or dress painted with one of his scenes or be the canvas itself. Either way people will get the picture and it will make for super cute photos.
5. Robert Irwin and Crocodile
Turns out, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Robert Irwin is following in dad’s footsteps as an animal lover, in particular crocodiles. Take home the costume contest trophy by being dressed as a crocodile hunter and his crocodile! Robert’s costume is basically head to toe in khaki with boots and safari hat. The crocodile’s costume can be any clothing that is all green with a cute croc hat! Add in an Australian accent for bonus points!
1. Miss Universe
A fun twist on the classic Miss Universe costume, this one is out of this world. As Miss Universe, you are actually the universe! This easy Halloween costume is sure to be very punny. Take a black dress, draw on planets, and don’t forget the crown. Make sure to make a sash that has the title Miss Universe on it. Add in flowers for the final touch and ta-da you’re all set.
If you love tutus and are looking for a way to incorporate them into a costume, the loofah Halloween costume is for you! It’s so easy to make and so cute. Start by getting tulle from a fabric store and cutting it into pieces. Tie the pieces onto a super stretchy elastic; you’ll want two pieces of elastic for the fullest coverage. Next, put one around your waist and the other around your ribs. Fluff pieces until everything is fully covered! Make sure to wear matching color clothes underneath so nothing shows through.
3. Pixel Censored Photos
Show off the goodies without really showing anything at all. The pixel censored photo is a hilarious and easy Halloween costume! Start with two pieces of cardboard and connect them with string so they hang like a dress. Then take markers or construction paper to create the pixels, making sure there is no real pattern. Then layer it over your clothes so that you keep everything covered and you are ready to go. It’s sure to be a hit at the party.
4. Hersey Kiss
A little sweet and a little sexy, the Hersey Kiss is a great last minute easy Halloween costume. You can use what you have on hand instead of running to the costume store and spending a fortune. Simply take your favorite dress and cover it in tin foil! Use a party hat for the topper and cover it in tin foil. Attach a white banner that says kisses and you’re done! Just watch out for those people who want a real kiss!
Break out the athleisure clothing for this Halloween costume. As a boxer, your costume is pretty easy to put together. Start with a sports bra and matching shorts. Add in a robe and gym shoes and you’re all set. You can braid your hair for extra detail or leave it loose. Either way you’ll end up looking like a champion!
