10 Cocktails To Try This Summer That You’ll Love

When the sun comes out there’s little better than cocktails with friends. Check out this list to find your new favorite frozen, bubbly and big batch summer cocktails.

Frozen Peach Bellini

Off all the classic brunch cocktails, bellinis are a sure favorite. Freshen up your brunch plans by adding ice to this typical drink. Combine ice, peaches and sparkling wine in a blender and you’re done. This simple recipe will class up any gathering, so be sure to drink them at your next summer soiree.

Frozen Palomas

Add a frozen twist to this tequila cocktail this summer. Combine simple syrup, a grapefruit, ice, lemon-lime soda, and tequila in a blender. Garnish with lime and a salt rim for a cocktail perfect for a sunny barbeque or a fun girls night in.

Frozen Watermelon Piña Coladas

Add a little theatre to your cocktails with this recipe from Sugar & Charm. Carve out the inside of a watermelon where your frozen drink will sit. Take the watermelon and freeze it overnight before adding it, coconut cream, coconut rum, banana rum, lime juice and pineapple juice in a blender. Pour the mixture back into the watermelon halves and enjoy!

Raspberry Limoncello Prosecco

Nothing says summer celebration like fruity and bubbly cocktails and this recipe has both. Simply middle fresh raspberries and add in limoncello and prosecco. Pour over ice and enjoy this fresh treat. To make this cocktail less boozy replace the prosecco with soda water, you’ll tell get the bubbles without the added alcohol.

Cucumber Melon Gin Spritzers

If you’re looking to keep your cocktails classy look no further. This recipe from Spices in my DNA is a bit more involved than some of the others on this list, but it’s totally worth it. The first step is making your own melon simple syrup before adding gin, seltzer water, melon balls, cucumber and mint. This is a homemade cocktail you can have some pride in.

Prosecco Margaritas

One of the best cocktails on a hot summer night is a margarita, so why not upgrade it with a splash of prosecco? This recipe simply adds prosecco to the classic margarita with lime juice, simple syrup, Cointreau and tequila. To make these cocktails more professional run a lime wedge over the rim of the glass before dipping it into coarse salt. A few simple steps and you’ll have a cocktail a mixologist could be proud of.

Vanilla Greyhound

This citrus filled recipe takes vodka, grapefruit juice, vanilla, rosemary and soda water and makes an awesome summer cocktail you and all your friends can enjoy. Mix the batch up in a pitcher and get serving.

On top of the classic British summertime drink, add in a bottle or two of champagne to take this refreshing punch to another level. To make a Pimms Royale you will need a collection of fresh sliced fruit, orange juice, champagne, ice and of course a bottle of Pimms! For a less boozy version, you can stick to a regular Pimms punch and replace the champaign with lemon-lime soda.
