Bloomington, Indiana is primarily known for being home to Indiana University and it’s Hoosiers or Little 500 race. What most people don’t know is that Bloomington is home to some of the best food, from ethnic to American to Nick’s English Hut. You won’t find anything like it, so keep reading to find out more about the 10 best places to eat near Indiana University.

1. Nick’s English Hut

An IU tradition featuring local meats and beers, as well as to-die for pizza and stromboli. 21 or over? Try your luck playing “Sink the Biz.”

2. Mother Bears Pizza

Ten inch Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday? Mother Bears pizza not only some of the best pizza you’ll find in Bloomington, but they’re always featuring deals. Check out either of their locations, you won’t be disappointed.

Rated one of the top 10 wing joints in America by USA Today, you have to try these wings. Forget B-Dubs, these wings will keep your taste buds wanting more. This is one of my favorite on the best places to eat near Indiana University list.

It’s right in the name, this soup is darn good. With a rotating menu of different soups everyday, you can find everything from vegan chili to gluten-free vegetable beef.

Freshly prepared sushi and authentic Japanese food, Ami should definitely be on your list to visit. Take a seat on the patio or indoors if it’s cold, and enjoy food you won’t find anywhere else.

In the heart of the most happening part of Bloomington, Best Taste offers American style Chinese food as well as authentic dishes. Visit Best Taste and you will be going home with leftovers, the portions are huge!
