10 Best Clemson Game Day Outfits

With football season now kicking off, it is absolutely mandatory that you wear your Clemson orange and purple at games. However, as great as all those Clemson T-shirts you have stuffed in your drawer are, they aren’t quite up to par with the high fashion expectations that have taken Clemson games by storm. What used to be a regular college football game has now turned into quite the fashion show. Below you’ll find 10 of the best Clemson game day outfits that will make everyone envious of your wardrobe!

1. Style (for the Win)

If you are looking for an outfit with a little more character to it, try and wear an orange and purple geometric patterned dress. This look will definitely stand out against the crowd. Remember to accessorize with an orange statement necklace, sandals, and a small tote bag!

2. (Fall)ing for the Tigers

If anyone were to look in my closet, they would know I’m all about my chunky cream sweaters. They are the perfect clothing item that can be paired with almost anything. In this case, match the sweater with some whitewashed jeans and add a flare of some Clemson orange by accessorizing with a scarf. And if it’s really cold outside, add a beige pea coat to the outfit. Tall brown, leather boots with knee high socks will really pull the whole outfit together and farther emphasize the fall-like style of the outfit. And as always, an Alex and Ani bracelet with a Clemson tiger paw charm is always a must for game day.

3. First and Ten

For all my preppy girls who love their skirts and Jack Rogers, look no further. For this outfit, try and find a simple pale orange or lavender skirt. A white halter top or white off the shoulder top will match perfectly with the skirt. Keep the jewelry simple so that the focus of the outfit remains on the halter-top. Pull out your Jack Rogers that I know every girl at Clemson has. Add a brown leather side purse as the final touch to the outfit.

4. Sideline Style

Stand out at the tailgates and games with a matching crop top and shorts. With gladiator sandals rising in popularity, you can rock the latest trends while looking great at the same time. Wear some gold tiger earrings to show your Clemson tiger pride! Make the outfit your own by glamming it up with gold jewelry and a gold purse.

5. Victory Style

Whoever said beauty is painful was lying. This outfit proves that you can balance both comfort and beauty. A romper is the perfect clothing item that balances these two elements. Any variation of sandals will look great with this outfit. Wear simple jewelry to keep the focus on the outfit and accessorize with a small tote bag and a pair of sunglasses.

6. Halftime Show

For all my southern girls, this outfit screams country chic. It is totally acceptable to wear a white dress rather than a purple or an orange one. However, white can sometimes be bland, so add some pops of orange or purple to brighten the outfit. To add a pop of color, wear an orange statement necklace and sport an orange side purse. Really emphasize the country chic vibe by wearing some cowgirl boots. And as always, I love matching my outfits with some gold bracelets.

7. Work hard. Play hard. Dress Hard.

So maybe dressing up for football games isn’t your favorite thing to do. We’ve all had days where we would rather wear shorts and a jersey than sport a dress and sandals. So here I am coming to the rescue with an outfit that is comfortable, yet still looks cute. Wear your school jersey with a pair of cutoff denim shorts to really emphasize the laidback style. Pair the outfit with either cowgirl boots or some white converse sneakers. You can even add a purple bandana headband to your hair to spice up the outfit and give it an edgier look.

8. Kick Off in Denim

If you aim to go for a more laidback style but still look cute, you can never go wrong with cut-off denim shorts. Denim shorts can be paired with almost any combination of purple, orange, and white tops. Look for loose fitted shirts rather than tight shirts. This way when you start to sweat from the heat, the shirt won’t be tight and stick to you. Accessorize the outfit with simple gold jewelry and a pair of sunglasses to block out the sun. And as always, you can never go wrong with a pair of cowgirl boots.

9. Record Breaker

One of my favorite parts of football season is when the fall weather approaches. My favorite fashion wardrobe is any and all types of fall clothing. I just love the dark purples, maroons, greens, and burnt oranges. If you are looking for a fall outfit that will make heads turn, then this one is for you.

Try and wear a long sleeve dark purple or burnt orange dress. To ward off the cold, wear some black shear tights. Tall brown leather boots with cream knit button boot socks will really pull the whole outfit together. And since the outfit is missing pockets, bring along a brown leather side purse to carry your game day essentials. Add an orange or purple statement necklace for the final touch.

10. Touchdown Tie Dye

Pull out your purple dresses for this boho inspired outfit. Stick to black accessories to match with the dress. Black gladiator sandals and a black fringe purse are the perfect boho elements to perfect this outfit. If you are feeling edgy, wear a black or gold choker and add a headband to your hair. This style will definitely win you the votes!
