It’s almost tailgate season here at Ball State, and your perfect gameday outfit is hiding in your closet. Pull out the BSU gear once again and any red, white or black items you have. It’s time to show your school pride while looking adorable! Check out these 10 gameday outfits at Ball State University; there is an outfit for every style and don’t be afraid to try something new!
1. Keep It Basic Or Spice It Up
Play it safe this season by grabbing your favorite Ball State tank or tee. If you feel like playing it down just grab your best pair of jeans with some adorable sneakers. However, fall is all about Pumpkin Spice, so spice up this basic outfit by pairing that tee or tank with an adorable pair of overalls and oversized sunglasses.
2. The Go-To Outfit When You’re Feeling Lazy
Stay comfy in a pair of black leggings and a red or white long sleeve v-neck. Throw on a Ball State hat and red sneakers to look like the complete the Number 1 fan look without putting in tons of effort! This is also a great look if you lost track of time; it’s a quick gameday fix.
3. Jersey Girls
You can never go wrong with a jersey. Wear an oversized one as a dress or with leggings underneath on those chilly fall nights. If you want a tighter fitting jersey, pair it with some tight skinny jeans and two black streaks under your eye to give you that ultimate gameday look!
4. Warm, Effortless And Adorable
Keep it simple in your favorite Ball State sweatshirt, or just a basic black one. Slip into some skinny jeans and black sneakers. Tie your hair into a messy half-updo and show off some football earrings to give you that effortless, but adorable look. This is one of my favorite looks.
5. Classic Fall Look
Pull out your duck boots! Grab and oversized red, black or white sweater and slide into some skinny jeans. Add some tall socks to match your sweater and throw on a knitted ear warmer to finish the look off! You can never go wrong with this look on the colder nights.
6. This Online Gem For Any Game
Sometimes it’s fun to get away from your school colors and find a shirt that is perfect for tailgating. Jadelynn Brooke is my favorite way to stray from the norm. With tons of adorable shirts, leggings and HAPPY stuff, there is something for everyone. Their adorable football shirts will have people stopping you left and right to see where you got the original shirt from! Pair yours with your favorite jeans and show off your new gear!
7. Get Crafty While It’s Still Warm
Grab your old BSU tee and take some scissors to it! Make a new neckline, cut off the sleeves or make a crop top! Add different bottoms for different looks; throw on a black skirt, black leggings or a pair of skinny jeans. You can never go wrong with DIY, plus no one will ever have the same shirt as you!
8. Rainy Day, But No Delay
Grab your rain boots and your comfiest pair of skinny jeans. Layer it up with tall socks if it’s going to be a cold night, and a matching long sleeve shirt. Add a black vest to finish off this chic, yet simple outfit. If you feel like you’re missing something, throw on a long necklace!
9. Football Game, Tailgating And Your Crush
It’s time to grab your cutest skinny jeans (those really tight ones, but they make your legs look great) and hop, wiggle and jump into them. Grab a loose black v-neck and tie a red and black plaid flannel around your waist to achieve that adorable gameday and date night look. Set this outfit off with your favorite hair style and comfy pair of black ankle boots.
10. The “Football Girlfriend” Look
Dress it down in your comfiest pair of jeans and your favorite worn out BSU sweatshirt. Put in a pair of football earrings or your favorite sparkly pair. Throw your hair up into an adorable messy bun with a thick black headband and you’re set for a night of tailgating and cheering. And to get you in that Fall football mood, stop by your favorite coffee shop and grab a Pumpkin Spice to warm you up throughout the game (or a hot chocolate if PS isn’t your cup of tea).
So these are 10 of the most adorable gameday outfits at Ball State University! Whatever you wear this season, wear it with confidence! Happy tailgating! #ChirpChirp
