This is far from your classic high school movie, providing a little bit of romance, while keeping your attention through a bit of satirical humor. Bottomline, Mean Girls is ALWAYS a good choice for movie night with the besties.
This classic 90’s film is ICONIC in fashion and overall high school drama. This movie can be prided in being written in a smartly, funny way, proving to be much more than your average comedy! Watching Clueless with your friends is definitely a great choice in finding a movie that appeals to all of your friends!
Bridesmaids, bridesmaids, bridesmaids. This movie is downright HILARIOUS. From its iconic quotes to its amazing lineup of actors and actresses, Bridesmaids is such a great choice when picking the perfect chick flick to watch, and it will have you and your friends screaming in laughter from the first five minutes of watching.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, is one of my personal favorites among this great lineup of chick flicks. From charming humor to dramatic romance, this movie is sure to gain the attention of all your besties while gathered around the screen during movie night! I definitely feel that this movie does not get nearly enough attention for its hilarity, but is DEFINITELY worth a chance among your chick flick choices!
Wow, 27 Dresses is one of those movies that just never gets old. With a light humor and relatable storyline, this movie is heartfelt, wholesome, and all-together a great choice! There is no better word to describe this movie than “cute,” making it a great choice among these options! 27 Dresses is such a timeless movie that will entertain you and all of your friends!
10 Things I Hate About You, is the ultimate 90’s nostalgia-type movie that truly never gets old. You will be screaming of laughter while tearing up over the endless romance of the love story, so it is definitely a movie that can capture your attention, regardless of favorite type of movie! Watch this one, and I promise it will not let you down.
Miss Congeniality is a great change of pace when it comes to different chick flicks. With a slight sense of women empowerment showcased by Sandra Bullock’s character, to the heartfelt love story in the making throughout the film, it is a great choice, no matter the occasion! I love this movie for so many different reasons, so it’s time for you to watch and it determine these for yourself!
The Proposal is witty, heartfelt, and HILARIOUS. While the storyline of a romance between a fun loving character and an uptight businesswoman, it might be slightly predictable, but is incredible nonetheless. I highly recommend this chick flick, and hope you love it as much as I do!
This list of chick flicks simply would not be complete without at least one classic Amanda Bynes movie. She’s the Man is just one of those movies that never fails to make you roll over in laughter. I don’t have much to say about it other than put this movie on during movie night with the gals, and I can guarantee that you won’t regret it AT ALL. After watching it a million times, it never fails to lighten my mood and make me smile!
The Devil Wears Prada is SUCH a good movie, with SUCH a good lineup, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. This is so much more than your average chick flick, bringing a real world view to the cutthroat fashion industry, and the impact that it has on those in it. I one hundred percent recommend watching this movie, regardless of if you’re having a night to yourself or a big movie night with your friends. The Devil Wears Prada is ALWAYS a good option!
