If you’re opposed to Apple but want to give wireless earbuds a go — debatably 2019’s biggest new trend — there are a plethora of options for you to try out. I’ve composed a list of the best AirPod alternatives that technology has to offer. Here are some wireless earbuds for 2019.
If you’re looking for a name brand alternative to Apple, Beats is always a safe bet. Customers rave about the high quality sound they deliver, and these new wireless earphones are no exception. With a 12 hour battery life and waterproof casing, one might go as far as to say that they’re superior to AirPods with what they have to offer. Marketed as fitness headphones, perhaps their best quality is that they’re designed to stay in your ears no matter what level of activity you’re engaged in. However, they don’t come cheap; they’re definitely an investment, at about $40-$50 more expensive than AirPods.

A small Southern California based company, JLab provides an alternative to name brands like Apple at a fraction of the price. Coming in at just about $50, these wireless headphones boast a 10 hour battery life and superior sound system. A great plus of these earbuds is their three EQ — signature, balanced, and bass boost — giving you options as to how you’d like to listen to your music, which you can change without having to use an app. They also include three sets of gel cushion tips and a set of cushion fins, so you can customize the headphones to your ear and ensure that they don’t fall out.

With 8 hours of battery life and a variety of eartip options, they also offer a couple of hours of battery life if you can only charge for a few minutes. You’re even gifted with 3 months of free Apple Music upon purchasing (new subscribers only). As neckband headphones, you’re able to easily wear them around your neck when you aren’t using them without the hassle of having to remove them from your phone.
