Ariana Grande Got Her Tattoo Misspelled – Twice!

Ariana Grande hasn’t had it easy lately, and her latest misspelled tattoo is just the bitter cherry on top of her misfortunes. If getting a tattoo wrong one time is already pretty bad, just imagine if it happens twice!

The world-renowned pop star recently flaunted on her social media her latest hand palm tattoo meant to celebrate the release of her new single, “7 Rings”. Written in Japanese characters, the tattoo was supposed to read precisely the song’s name, but unfortunately, things got messy. Connoisseurs of the Japanese language quickly pointed their finger at Grande, claiming that the characters actually meant something else, namely “BBQ Grill” – Ouch!

In an attempt to fix the indelible problem, Grande promptly responded to the critics with a since-deleted comment under her post: “Indeed, I left out “つの指” which should have gone in between. It hurt like f–k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”

Yet, regardless of her pain complaints, she did go back to her tattoo artist and had the missing characters added. Later she shared an update of her fresh ink, adding “slightly better. thanks to my tutor for helping me fix and to @kanenavasard for being a legend. and to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke). rip tiny charcoal grill. miss u man. I actually really liked u.” Everything would be fine and the problem would be solved now if the tattoo wasn’t wrong… AGAIN. Apparently, the new characters change the meaning of her tattoo from “BBQ Grill” to “BBQ Grill Finger” – double Ouch!

Will Grande try a third – and hopefully, last – attempt at fixing her tattoo? We can’t really tell, but we hope that if she does, she gets it right – or else she’ll have to sing “thank you, next” to her tattoo artist.
