10 Apps To Help Save Your Hard Earned Money

Saving money is hard and nobody likes to spend their hard-earned money if they don’t have to. We’ve outlined 10 apps that help you save your money with minimal work on your part!

1. Pocket Points

Pocket Points is one of the best apps to help save that any high school but mainly college student should have. All you have to do is open the app and make sure you are on the middle screen. It should have a timer on it. Then you lock your phone and either set it face down or even put it away in your bag. The longer your phone is locked, the more points you earn. The more points you earn the more deals you can get in their shop.

These deals include a percentage off of pizza orders, clothing, or outdoor activities. As long as you are on campus, the GPS in your phone will know and automatically reminds you to open the app and lock your phone so you can get rewarded for paying attention and learning in class!

2. Ibotta

Ibotta is my favorite of the apps to help save your money by giving you money back on your purchases. All you have to do is open the app and add the offers you want or need and then upload a picture of your receipt that has those offers on it and get money back.

If you want to withdraw your cashback from ibotta you have to reach a total of $20 in earnings. The cash out options include PayPal or Venmo, but you can also redeem your money in the form of gift cards from Amazon, American Eagle, etc.

3. Digit

Digit is one of the best apps to help save your money by connecting to your bank and tracks your spending habits so that it knows how much you have to put into savings. This app to help save uses the information on how you spend your money and your income by connecting to your bank and then gives you a good amount that you can withdraw from your account.

One thing that is a downside is that PayPal is not a supported bank you can connect to, and my personal bank is not on this app either. However, you can fill out a form and then get your bank potentially added to Digit if there is a benefit.
