10 Adorable Gameday Outfits at Texas Christian University

There are so many different outfits you can put together for gameday. Whether they are for a big event, like blackout/whiteout, or just a regular game, you want to look cute and show your school pride! Here are the 10 cutest gameday outfits at Texas Christian university to try out for the next game!

1. Purple Rompers With Cowboy Boots (Left)

If you cannot find a purple dress, already worn all of your purple dresses, or you find something else purple to wear; a purple romper paired with some cowboy boots is super cute and breezy to wear to all of those super hot fall games! You can add some white jewelry with your purple romper to accessorize and dress it up.

2. Black Dresses For Blackout Games With Cowboy Boots

At least once a season, TCU has a blackout game. This means the students section wears all black instead of TCU’s purple or white and it looks really cool. You get to match the football player’s incredible black uniforms with their helmets that actually look like they have horned frog skin on them.

3. Rainy Day Outfit

So, sometimes Texas weather is unpredictable and it decides to be 35 degrees in November with sleet/rain so you have to pull out your trusty rain jacket and rain boots! Girls usually wear either a TCU rain jacket, their sorority rain jacket, or a monogrammed one from high school (aka me on the right). You really just want to go for warmth here, especially when you wait over 2 hours in the pouring rain to get front row for the 2015 Baylor game like I did!

4. White Dresses For Whiteout Games With Cowboy Boots

Like blackouts, we have at least 2 whiteouts per season, if not more. You basically wear the same thing you would to a normal game (aka a dress, always a dress), but make sure its white so you don’t accidentally stick out in the student section!! And of course don’t forget those cowboy boots! Instead of your traditional white jewelry, throw some purple jewelry on so you’re always wearing TCU colors!

5. Casual White Shirts With Denim Shorts And Cowboy Boots

Alright, sometimes its really hot and you are just not in the mood for a dress and need to throw on some shorts. Don’t worry, you wont be chastised by every member of TCU for not wearing a dress. For a white out, any type of cute white top with denim bottoms (jeans, skirt, shorts) is totally acceptable, just as long as you don’t forget your cowboy boots! You also might want to throw on some sorority face tats or a sorority button that makes sure to tell the world that the Greeks love TCU football!

6. White Rompers And Cowboy Boots (Right)

Just like the purple romper, sometimes you might find a super cute romper in white (or black) and realize you can wear it to a TCU football game! White rompers are super cute and definitely reusable throughout your time at TCU. So, don’t be afraid to stray away from that dress stereotype just as long as you wear your cowboy boots!

7. Mix It Up: White And Purple

Recently, this type of outfit has become super popular. Just because it isn’t a white out doesn’t mean you can’t wear white. So, a super cute and casual outfit such as purple shorts and a white top or a purple top with white shorts, is also super cute and comfy to wear to the warmer games! Bu, DON’T FORGET THE COWBOY BOOTS!

8. Purple Sweaters, Denim, And Cowboy Boots

For those of you who really are not a fan of dressing up or just don’t have the time or energy to do so, then this is the look for you! Throw on a TCU sweatshirt of any sort, some jeans and you are ready to go!

9. Purple Dresses And Cowboy Boots

If there is no specific dress code for the game, then almost every girl will have their hair curled or straightened with full makeup in their purple dresses. Any shade of purple is acceptable to wear to a TCU game and it looks really cool when everyone is all mixed in the stadium.

10. White Sweaters, Denim Bottoms, And Cowboy Boots

Last but certainly not least, if the game is a little chilly but you still want to dress to impress, then throw on a super cute and comfy sweater and a matching jacket. This outfit will make sure that you aren’t miserable in the windy section, I mean the student section, and you wont have to worry about holding your dress down!

As you may have noticed, we always wear cowboy boots. It’s Texas people, what else would you expect? So if you are planning on attending TCU you are going to want at least one pair or more! (No shame in wanting more, I have 3 pairs.) GO FROGS!
