10 Adorable Gameday Outfits at Florida State University

There are many perks of gameday at Florida State University, ranging from the student camaraderie to the drinks, from our winning record to the feeling when the entire stadium is chanting the fight song. Still, one of the highlights of gameday is the sea of garnet and gold. On this day, students show school pride by dressing their best since, after all, the majority of the student body is out and about tailgating. So go ahead and thank your lucky stars/your good judgement for bringing you to a school with classy colors (and no, orange and blue do not qualify) and then check out this list of 10 adorable gameday outfits at Florida State University for some inspiration!

1. GameDay Dress

The perfect garnet and gold dress goes a long way and makes an outfit that looks amazing with just one stand-out piece! Dresses like the one shown here are popular finds in boutiques near campus. The look here is dressed up with a layered choker, cute sunglasses, and matching gladiator sandals, resulting in a perfectly tasteful gameday look!

2. Garnet Printed Romper

If you’re less of a dress gal but still like the idea of having one staple piece carry the outfit, a romper may be the way to go! We love this look because the print and the cutouts of the romper itself make a statement. And the simple gold necklace and brown heels pull it all together without going over the top.

3. Suede Skirt And Hat

Suede is in style right now, and FSU students know how to take advantage of how amazing it looks with garnet and gold.  This suede skirt is another great way to dress up gameday and the hat is the perfect accessory you never knew you needed!

4. Lace Up T-shirt

This year everyone has been lacing up for gameday, that is with adorable lace up t-shirts!  It’s a stylish and easy way to stand out on gameday and feel comfortable (even if you’re planning to walk from the tailgate at KA to the stadium.) The best part is shirts like this can be created from any old FSU t-shirt you may have lying around!

5. Cut Up T-Shirt

If you’re looking for a possible alternative to a lace up t, a cut up one might be what you’re looking for.  You can put your own twist on it- no two shirts are the same.  This outfit goes above and beyond with two-tone shorts and a choker and is the perfect way to make gameday style your own!

6. FSU Football Jersey

FSU jerseys aren’t only for the players. In fact, fans love to wear them on gameday to get in the spirit and support their favorite players! They make for a casual look, and yet casual has never been so perfect. We are obsessed with the incorporation of cowboy boots in this outfit- after all, we are in the south!

7. Cheerleading Skirt

We’re obsessed with a good garnet and gold cheerleading skirt for a tailgate. It creates a look that is half fun, half flirty, and one hundred percent spirited! This look pairs a skirt with the ideal team crop top and simple necklace, with a matching lip stick for the extra pop.

8. Overalls And Tennis Shoes

This fun look utilizing overalls is unique and trendy while still ensuring you know what team she’s cheering for with a garnet crop top! Pair your overalls with high tops and you’re virtually unstoppable entering that stadium.

9. Pretty Prints

It’s the most exciting feeling to find a printed top in the store that you love and is garnet and gold, making it gameday ready! This adorable top has all of the components of a great game top, and the garnet is brought out even more with a matching handbag. This outfit is impeccable for tailgate enthusiasts and fashionistas alike!

10. Garnet With Gold Jewelry

Any garnet article of clothing can be made gameday ready with the proper accessories! This look accomplishes the perfect Nole look just by adding a beautiful gold belt to a garnet dress.  This stunning combination is one of our faves!

These 10 gameday looks are winners in our book and we hope you are as in love with them as we are! While we all anxiously await football season to arrive again, you have plenty of time to plan your own gameday outfits and to use these looks as inspiration.

As long as you incorporate garnet and gold into your gameday outfits at Florida State University, you can’t go wrong!
