1. Children’s Museum of Stockton

The Children’s Museum of Stockton is a place where kids can learn through play. It has over 40 interactive exhibits and offers the ability to host birthday parties for kids. So if you have any nieces or nephews that you want to hang out with for a day, they will love you for taking them here. This is something you totally need to add to your Stockton bucket list.

2. Pixie Woods

Pixie Woods is a popular place for anyone who has kids in the Stockton area. It has been there for a very long time and is a place to go to for kids birthday parties as well as fun school trips for pre-schoolers. It features playgrounds, a fire truck, a boat ride, a train ride and more.

3. Haggin Museum

The largest museum in Stockton, this is a great place to go to for art. It used to house a mummy, but unfortunately, it’s no longer there. The museum has been open since 1931 and currently houses the largest public collection of artwork by “Golden Age” illustrator J.C. Leyendecker.

4. Limitless Escape Games

If you’ve always wanted to try out one of those escape rooms that are all the rage these days, look no further than Limitless Escape Games in Stockton. This place has trap doors and has a Sherlock Holmes room that sounds like a blast. Definitely add this one to your Stockton bucket list.

5. Stockton VR

For an awesome virtual reality experience in Stockton, look no further than Stockton VR. This place is by appointment only, but you can easily book one online. No experience is required to enjoy this arcade type setting and it’s fun for all ages!

6. Asparagus Festival

The Stockton Asparagus Festival happens every year. It’s a major event in Stockton and features every kind of asparagus dish you can think of as well as fun rides if you’re into that sort of thing.

7. Micke Grove Zoo

Alright, so technically this bucket list item is in Lodi, but it’s close enough. If you want to see wild animals up close and personal, this is the place to go if you’re in the Stockton area. It’s a pretty decent zoo and a great place to take kids.

8. Pacific Avenue Bowl

Pacific Bowl has been in Stockton for as long as anyone can remember. It’s where friends and families go to hang out when there’s nothing else to do. They’ve also got a small arcade with sticker vending machines, so that’s a plus.

9. Weberstown Mall

This mall has a JCPenney with Sephora in it and that is all you need to know. We’re kidding, of course. But it’s always good to know where the nearest Sephora is. They also have Forever 21, Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret.

10. Sherwood Mall

Sherwood mall is the other mall in town. It’s the one with the food court. So if you wanna grab some grub with your besties to catch up, this is the mall to do it in. Need to hit up Claire’s for some earrings or get a new iPad at Best Buy? Sherwood Mall has you covered.
