7 Ways to Style Your Denim Skirt All Year Long

Denim skirts have made their comeback. That stylish 70’s style is very present this season and we are loving every bit of it. These skirts are so versatile- it’s a staple piece you MUST include in your closet. Here are seven ways you can style your own denim skirt.

1. Keep warm in the winter

Trying to stay warm during winter, but desperately want to show off that new denim skirt? Pair it with a nice cashmere sweater, sheer tights and ankle boots. To keep even warmer, layer a button down shirt underneath the sweater and add knee high socks over your tights. You can finish this look with a comfy scarf.

2.  Spring into the seventies

Keep your spring look simple and chic. Add a pair of gladiator sandals and a light, wispy top. You could even add an assortment of accessories to glam this look up, such as a bold purse, statement necklace or chunky bracelets.

3. Sweet summer sunshine

Summer gets hot, so a nice light T-shirt can help keep things breezy. Summer is all about showing off that summer glow, so why not pair this look with a crop top. A simple graphic tee can give your skirt the perfect casual vibe, while heels can certainly dress it up. Summer is the perfect time to experiment with white denim, too!

4. Trends to Fall forward

I am absolutely “falling” in love with this look. Over-the-knee boots are hot on the runway right now. If this isn’t warm enough for the crisp fall weather, try pairing a varsity jacket with your denim skirt to make it more casual, while still keeping you warm. You could even add tights, leggings or socks.

5. The business beauty

Denim may seem too casual for business, but with the right accessories you can definitely make it work. Try pumps and a statement purse to pull it off, and you can never go wrong with a nice, classy blazer.

6. Cool and casual

This chic look is perfect for running  errand, but the sneakers make it perfect for most occasions. Exploring the town, brunch with the girls, or just a walk through campus – this outfit is a must!

7. A noteworthy night out

I love this for a night out on the town. The distressed denim skirt and open side tank top makes this outfit sexy and fun. Add some heels and go grab yourself a cocktail, you are ready for the night!
