5 Decorations That Are A Must Have For Any Dinner Table Set Up

When livening up your dining room look, it can be hard to pick a color scheme or theme that reflects your style and fashion. And with so many options out there, it can feel overwhelming trying to find something that will be perfect for your living space. The first step in creating a dining room look to die for is picking a theme or color scheme. Don’t know where to start in livening up your dining table look? No problem! Here are 5 decorations that are a must have for any dinner table set up.

This is a great way to bring attention to your dining table set.

1. Centerpieces

While centerpieces may seem a little traditional and tacky if you don’t know how to decorate. They can really add that color pop to your dining table that will make you the envy of your friends. Centerpieces are perfect to fit any color scheme or theme. For instance, if you have a dark oak dinner table, you want to try and strive for popping colors. Whether you like bright colors or soft subtle shades, there is a centerpiece out there for everyone. For instance, if you have a beach theme throughout your home, with soft subtle hues of blues and whites, try adding a soft blue centerpiece. Plants are always a great way to add life to your dinner table without making it feel cluttered. They are especially great for when you’re looking for that rustic farm to table look. The only down side of centerpieces is that depending on their make and model, some can be quite expensive. But with a little creativity and color know-how, there is a centerpiece out there for everyone to enjoy.

Cloth napkins are a great way to liven up your dining table look.

2. Decorative Cloth Napkins

This decoration is a fast and cheap way to bring a sense of continuity to a dining set while also giving room to express yourself with your color and themes. There are various styles for cloth napkins. I personally love the highly stylized versions. I have white cloth napkins with intricate drawings of seashells in a soft rustic brown that adds a sense of warmth to my dining table set. There are even cloth napkins with bright color pops that can bring the color back into a darker wood set. I love this decoration because it is a way that totally changes the way your dinner table looks without breaking your budget.

Napkin Rings are a great way to make your dining table set match.

3. Napkin Rings

Do you want a fast and fun way to add that sense of class to your dining table set? Napkin rings are a great way to add that fresh sense of sophistication to any color scheme or dinner set. And I know the first thing that comes to mind when you think of napkin rings might be that old brass set your grandmother has had since 1950. But this is not true, napkin rings have grown with time and can be a fun filled and creative way to liven up your dining room table look. There are various websites that make handcrafted creative napkin rings that are perfect for any set. And like cloth napkins, napkin rings add that sense of symmetry and continuity to your dinner table set.  I personally love shopping for napkin rings on Etsy, where I can get a fun creative set that feels unique to me and my dinner table. When you want to add that sense of unique color to your next table set, try out napkin rings.

Plates and dishes are a great way to add a pop of color to any set.

4. Stylized Plates And Serving Dishes

There are numerous plates and serving dishes that will fit any dining need while also being cute and fashionable. There are plates and serving dishes that are great for any theme. And while some plates and dishes can be expensive, they are well worth it. They last for years and that sense of warmth and welcome is necessary for any dinner table set. I personally love the beach theme of soft blue starfish and white plates. Yet there is a style for everyone. In addition, the cactus theme has come to rise in popularity. And there are adorable plates featuring bright green cacti with soft pink blossoms. And while plates and serving dishes may be more expensive than napkins, there are plenty of beautiful and cheap options throughout various online stores such as Amazon or Target. Also another thing to keep in mind is the quantity of plates you will need for your dinner table set. You want to ensure you have enough to sustain your average number of guests while making the place feel warm and inviting. Make your dinner guests feel at home with these cute plates and dishes.
