The purpose of this song was to make a political statement about how the United States government does not want to give certain countries like Brazil more funds to live better lives. Instead, the United States would rather let the country remain poor and struggle. Sometimes, the best way to get your message out there is to put it in a musical style that everyone will support.

What makes this song so unique is that this song’s theme is focusing on a horror zombie theme where horror icon Vincent Price was also included in this song. The song starts with Michael being a traditional smooth mac man with the ladies, but when the sun goes down that is when the creatures come out in which Jackson turns into a zombie and performs a dance routine. This song has often been voted the greatest music video ever made.
