10 Adorable Game Day Outfits

Game day outfits are so fun to coordinate! If you have a wide variety of accessories to use, you can wear the same outfit multiple times and just switch out the accessories! We have compiled a list of ten outfits you will definitely want to wear on game day. You can mix and match any of these combinations to create your own unique game day outfit!

1. Tank Top & Skirt

This game day outfit is super cute and versatile! You can pair almost any tank top with a jean skirt to keep you cool on hot days. You can also throw a sweater or light jacket over the top if it gets cool. You will want to wear some jewelry or a bandana with your school colors to complement your outfit. Pair your outfit with a cute necklace, some sneakers, and sunglasses and you’ll be set!

2. Jean Shorts & School T-shirt

If you are looking for a basic game day outfit, then this is the one for you! You probably have several t-shirts with your school logo on them. Grab your favorite shirt and pair it with some comfy jean shorts. You will want to wear shoes that are comfortable since you will be doing lots of walking. You can also tie a school bandana onto your shorts for a trendy accessory!

3. Long Sleeve Shirt & Leggings

Leggings are some of the best accessories a girl can have in her closet. They are versatile, comfortable, and flattering. On game day, consider pairing your leggings with a long sleeve shirt or jean jacket! This outfit is perfect for cool fall football games. You can layer a turtleneck under your shirt for some extra warmth. Adding a beanie and some ankle boots will complete this look!

4. T-shirt & Leggings

If you are watching a game on a warmer day, wear a t-shirt with your leggings! You will most likely do a lot of walking inside the stadium, so you want a comfortable outfit and shoes. You can tie a jean jacket or flannel around your waist in case the weather gets cold. Depending on the event, you can either dress this outfit up or leave it casual. Dress it up by adding some chunky earrings, rings, and layering necklaces, or leave it casual with a pair of studs and a bracelet.

5. Crop Top & Biker Shorts

This is probably one of the cutest game day outfits! If you are into DIY crafts, try cropping your school t-shirts and adding tassels or slits at the bottom. This will add a trendy look to your outfit! Your cropped shirt will complement your biker shorts and keep you cool at summer games. If you prefer wearing oversized shirts, you can also pair your oversized t-shirt with biker shorts. Either way, you will have a cute outfit that is game day ready!

6. Jacket & Jeans

Jean jackets are practical all year, but they are especially trendy during the fall. If you have multiple shades of denim jackets, they will pair with all kinds of pants! You will want to have a few different jean jackets in your closet for each season. Consider pairing your jean jacket with some bell-bottom jeans for a cute and trendy game day outfit. Or, wear your jacket over a dress for a more dressed-up look!

7. Baseball Cap & Jeans

Baseball caps make you look like a true fan at the baseball field. They can pair with dresses, shorts, jeans, leggings, and just about any other outfit. They will also protect your face and scalp from the sun on a hot day. If you need a way to cover up your dirty hair, or just want to wear a fun accessory, baseball caps are an obvious pick! You can wear your hair braided or curled to complement your baseball cap.

8. Sweatshirt & Sweatpants

If you need a cozy game day outfit, this is the one for you! Sweatshirts and sweatpants are always a safe bet when it comes to cute and comfortable outfits. Pair one of your school sweatshirts with some versatile sweatpants and sneakers, and you’ll be good to go! If you want to dress up this outfit, you can add some gold hoop earrings and rings for some bling. You will probably want to style your hair in a messy bun or ponytail if you are going for a comfortable and effortless look.

9. Sundress & Sunglasses

If you are a sorority member, you probably have a wide variety of dresses in your closet! Make your dress into a game day outfit by adding some accessories with your school colors. You will probably want to wear a flowy sundress to keep you cool and comfortable at the game. If you are brave enough, you can wear some wedge or platform heels with your dress. We recommend wearing comfy sneakers though since you will probably do lots of walking.

10. Jersey & Shorts

This game day outfit is a class pick. You will see crowds of people wearing this outfit at any college sporting event. Grab a jersey with your favorite player’s number and pair it with some jean shorts. You can wear your jersey over the shorts or tuck it in. Complete your outfit with sneakers, sandals, or cowboy boots and you’ll be set for game day!

11. Accessories

You won’t want to walk into the stadium without some accessories to complement your game day outfit! Most colleges will give their students school pins to wear on game day. You can also buy pom-poms, headbands, fanny packs, cups, jewelry, or bags with your school logo. Some stadiums require fans to carry their belongings in clear bags, so make sure you know what your stadium requires. You can decide how dressed up you want to be, but don’t step into the stadium without a few accessories to show love for your team!
