Which Bradley University Staple Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

Bradley University is home to many iconic staples all of us P-Town homies have come to love (or hate). The real question is, which one are you? Read on to see which iconic Bradley item you are, based on your zodiac sign!

Libra ~ (September 23rd – October 22nd)

Oh Libra! You’re the ever so iconic Moe’s Queso! Libra’s are in fact the happiest when surrounded by loved ones, and who says that loved once can’t be queso? Every Bradley University student has at some point stumbled into the student center too early in the morning or way too late at night to get some glorious queso. If you haven’t, you should try it. Nothing says blackout-Tuesday-hangover-cure like that cheesy goodness. Another Libra trait is being focused and decisive about what they want in life, and when Moe’s is staring back at ya, you know what the right choice is.

Scorpio ~ (October 23rd – November 21st)

Scorpio’s with their determination and resourceful instincts, are clearly Hilltop Happenings. Just like the helpful guide, Scorpio’s are determined to make the most out of their college experience, and what better way to do so than by going down that list twice a week and trying something new! With their creative instincts, something from Bradley University’s iconic email list is sure to draw their attention.

Sagittarius ~ (November 22nd – December 21st)

Sagittarius, with their love of adventure and willingness to do anything, is LateNiteBU! What better way to engage in that passion for excitement and thrill than by finding your way to a late night (school appropriate) party? The activities are always different, and can range from an oxygen bar to an elephant ride! Something Sagittarius’s struggle with is punctuality, and that’s okay! Show up late and be greeted by late night pizza every event! There’s no negative to this Bradley University staple.

Capricorn ~ (December 22nd – January 19th)

Capricorn! Your independent-ness and tendency to be goal-oriented makes you Jerry’s Juice Bar! A sort of isolated gem located in Bradley University’s fitness center, Markin, which is full of amazing smoothies and cheap bagels: perfect for your on-the-go student or athlete. You just want to help others while doing your own thing, just like the juice bar. On top of amazing add-ins for your smoothies, they are also dairy free if you choose water over ice cream! Perfect for everyone’s needs.

Aquarius ~ (January 20th – February 18th)

Every Bradley University Aquarius can relate to the iconic One World. Since Aquarius’s are creative and full of a love of learning new things, what better place to adventure to for your next meal? The menu is chalk full of vegan and vegetarian options of classic meals from around the world. There is no better place to try new things than at One World, and with their collection of drink add-ins, you really can’t go wrong!

Pisces ~ (February 19th – March 20th)

I’m sorry to everyone who isn’t one, but Pisces is Bradley University’s very own Kaboom! Kaboom never let their friends down and neither do you Pisces. You always find yourself surrounded by people, whether in your classes, at a Braves basketball game, or just in your dorm! You love the support you have. Much like our beloved mascot (who was #1 in the 2019 NCAA tournament ranking of mascots!!), you always return that support to those around you, and we wouldn’t be where we are without you (or Kaboom for that matter).

Aries ~ (March 21st – April 19th)

Aries, with your generous and courageousness, you are the single item that kept me going freshman year: The Brunch Burger. That generosity of toppings and meaty goodness fits right in with that aspect of your personality, and the yumminess of each bite is enough to push you through that hangover and allow you to continue through your day.

Taurus ~ (April 20th – May 20th)

Taurus, you have to be the goddamn unfinished business building. Taurus’s are very patient and generous, and there has been nothing more patient than everyone slowly working on this building. What started as a hole in 2017 is still not a finished building, and it is being very generous with it’s time. Taurus’s also love making new friends and going on new adventures, and I’m sure once this building is finally finished, it too will be a home for new adventures with all of the new friends (classes) it will have. At times, Taurus’s can become materialistic and obsessive, just like all the new features this building needs for some reason.

Gemini ~ (May 21st – June 20th)

Gemini is definitely Bacci’s. Where would Bradley University be without good ole’ Bacci’s? Gemini’s are very independent, and do not like being controlled. The great thing about Bacci’s is that no one forces anyone to go there, you just end up there when the time is right for you. On top of that, Gemini’s need to be stimulated by something new frequently, and after a night out, there’s nothing more new and exciting than some Fried Mac N Cheese bites at 2 am.

Cancer ~ (June 21st – July 22nd)

I’m so sorry for this, but Cancer’s are Bradley University’s Wifi. It just blows my mind that our wifi is something that we are known for. Cancer’s are known for being loyal and caring, and are usually pretty adaptable, much like the users of the wifi. Cancer’s are also pretty reliable people. Sometimes our wifi works, and we all love that! However, Cancer’s can also be prone to mood swings, and we all know what our wifi is really like…

Leo ~ (July 23rd – August 22nd)

Leo’s are Peoria’s Love Wall! Leo’s are known for being very independent people, just like how each mural is it’s own independent piece. They are very generous to their friends and are always craving attention. Similar to the love wall, who is generous enough to let anyone passing through take a picture with it. Just make sure to use the hashtag #lovewallpeoria, it needs its attention too! Leo’s are also very affectionate, and like the wall, just want to spread the love.

Virgo ~ (August 23rd – September 22nd)

Last but certainly not least, we have Virgo, aka the Bradley University Squirrels. Virgo’s like to do things on their own, and can sometimes overanalyze things. When it comes to the squirrels, they too are like this. They like to roam around and if they see people with food, they will overanalyze and assume it is for them, which can lead to problems. Virgo’s are also perfectionists at heart, and like the squirrels, won’t stop until they can do things right (even if it means taking food that isn’t for them).
